Am new to MN. Have a 12 week old and a 20 month old. Having a very lonely maternity leave!

Hope Tumble Tots wasn't too exhausting...
My worry is that dd would be fairly exuberant there and I would have to try and keep an eye on her brother, she is already doing some death-defying climbs and nosedives at home.
I actually managed to get a night out in London yesterday, didn't dare have more than 3 drinks though as body is not used to it and would have ended up staggering home like an old lush.
Am impressed at your talented duo, dd is having a bit of a 'do' for her second birthday, do you take bookings?!

You lucky thing, a whole night out! DH and I are going to see his parents this week end, and are taking advantage of a babysitter, so are actually going out to dinner tomorrow. Grace is really miffed, I explained to her that mummy and daddy never go out by ourselves, alone. She answered 'but you did once'! Shows how often we get out together without the children. Usually DH goes out during the week while he is away and I go out at week-end when he baby sits.
BTW, don't think you will be able to afford my DD's entertainment act, A crate of organic raisans and lashings of pomegranite juice (the fav of the moment).
Do you ever get involved with any of the other conversations on mumsnet?

Good weekend I hope? We haven't been out together except for lunch when working since the kids either - but our oldest isn't six!
We're going up to see my parents for a few days in November and intend to get a few nights out then... Had a holiday last year when DD refused to stay asleep in the night nursery and the pager would go off without fail just as we were ordering dinner!
DH babysits so I can go out cos I am the one with friends locally and not him!
Your kids are very trendy with their pomegranate juice, my DD is a very picky eater (at home, at least) and I don't think she'd even entertain such a thing. On the other hand DS is such a hungry lad I started him on some cereal and purees this w/end as there was no way he would wait until he was six months. He gobbles anything down, none of the weaning traumas I suffered with DD. Is it a boy/girl thing, do your two eat without a fuss?
