As the new term is upon us I thought it was time we should try and ressurect the Zooby's fan club!

I am still working same days so can do Monday or Fridays. We used to do Fridays before if that is still best for everyone.

For new comers:

Zoobys is the little coffe/sandwich bar in the corner of the Winter Gardens. It sells yummy sandwiches. I adore the humous and roasted veg one. And lovely coffee. DD (age 2) loves the children's banana sandwich too.

Winter gardens has plenty of room for little ones to have a wander and a bit of a play. If really nice weather we can always dispatch to Peace Gardens round corner for picnic on the grass.

Used to do lunch times - what time was it? 12:15 or 13:30 ish???

I know Wedgiesmum is no longer working in Sheffield so probably can't make these any more - sure we can manage some other meets as well though, yes? And although Maisiestar isn't online so much now I have her contact number so can invite her and her DS along as well.

So when and who???

These are dates I can do:

Mon 27th Sept
Fri 1st Oct
Mon 4th Oct
Fri 15th Oct
Mon 18th Oct

Then on holiday as half term.

I may be able to do Fri 22 Oct if an earlish meet. have a wedding that afternoon and evening.

It was a long day. It was hard asking questions and then listening to see if they said what you wanted to hear. The problem is these days you need a manager as well as a teacher. Oh and BTW we are due an Ofsted any day!

Eeek!!!

We have the LEA Inspectors in on Monday and Tuesday next week. OFSTED will be back sometime between November to January we think - and will give us about 2-3 weeks notice maximum.

Our new HT is coming from this school . He reckons the best thing to happen is to get an Ofsted straight away so he can get improving straight away. Brave man!

Yorkiegirl - I know!!!! I really should o but have so little motivation at the mo,ent. But I will try and get my head into gear over the weekend. I will give it some serious thought ma'am!!!

Yurtgirl - I am the same; DD wears Motherease Bedwetters at night and I only have the three. And they take so long to dry in our dryer. So many times we have had to put her to bed pantless whilst they are in the dryer, and then had to put her in them whilst asleep later.

Yorkiegirl - just to let you know that my friend had her baby yesterday. It was all very quick apparantly. But baby not as small as they had been expecting - a very respectable 7lb 10oz. A beautiful little boy. So not sure if those clothes will fit him now! We'll see. We should be goiung to see him in the next few days - once they have finished with the familiy visitors and all that.
