Evening ladies! 👋🏻
How is everyone?!

Zoflorabore · 29/05/2019 20:31

Hiya Pink :) were just on the FB group chat al moaning about the weather!! Typical.
I know you don't have FB but what about creating one ( even with a fake name or whatever ) so you can join in?
There's 4 of us on there and all having a good gab and looking to sort meet up soon.

Totally understand it you'd rather not but just thought it may be easier to talk on there for you. They're a lovely bunch of ladies, promise Smile

Zoflorabore · 30/05/2019 06:30

NoYo. Are you on whatsapp?

PinkDaydreams · 30/05/2019 07:05

I don’t want to go into it on here but I’m not on fb and unfortunately won’t join, there is reasons behind it, let’s just say family 🙄

Zoflorabore · 30/05/2019 07:18

Ah sorry lovely, I completely understand. Families are bloody hard work aren't they!

I will keep posting on here anyway and will pm you instead if that's ok?

Same with NoYo as she doesn't have FB either.

No reason for that to stop you from meeting up, once we have done I'm sure we will just all swop numbers or whatever anyway and won't need a group chat :)

PinkDaydreams · 30/05/2019 08:20

Thanks for understanding.
I’m on mumsnet most days so will keep a look out on here Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 30/05/2019 13:33

I wish I lived in Liverpool. I absolutely love it.

Toddlerteaplease · 30/05/2019 13:34

I did look at working at Alder Hey. But I didn't like it. So staying put.

PinkDaydreams · 30/05/2019 18:34

I love living in Liverpool, the people are so friendly (not like where I’m originally from!!) and the city centre is fab too!

LoveMySituation · 31/05/2019 12:08

I'd love to live in Liverpool too toddler, used to go there lots when I was younger. I feel alive there. Now trapped in the middle of nowhere...

LoveMySituation · 31/05/2019 12:11

Pink, I'm now wondering if you're from the area I live in!

PinkDaydreams · 31/05/2019 20:30

Can any of you with toddlers recommend things to do please? There’s only so many times in a week we can go to the library, local library, world museum, Liverpool museum, art gallery!

Toddlerteaplease · 31/05/2019 22:58

@PinkDaydreams agreed. I've joined a walking group in Liverpool, and the group seems to gel In a way that I don't think you'd get here in Nottingham. Also the first time I visited my friend up there, I couldn't get over the non Stop chatting from the taxi driver!!

Toddlerteaplease · 31/05/2019 23:00

@LoveMySituation I know what you mean. Properly getting to know Liverpool has killed off any love for Nottingham. I was happy here but get feel very 'homesick' for Liverpool. But it really wouldn't be the right move for me to make right now. Sad

LoveMySituation · 01/06/2019 11:33

Snap Toddler, maybe one day. Do you ever feel that the life you're living isn't the life you're meant to be living, and there is another one happening at the same time, and it's like part of you is always with that other life? If that makes sense. I've never been to Nottingham, what's it like?

PlaydoughBarbershop · 01/06/2019 11:44

Hi!! I'm V and I live I Halewood :-)

LoveMySituation · 01/06/2019 11:53

Pink, I don't have a toddler, but what about the big wheel in the docks? There's also a few ideas here

Zoflorabore · 01/06/2019 13:09

Hello V, important question from me- do you have a maroon wheely bin? Grin

Are you on FB? We have a little group chat going.

WhiteRedRose · 01/06/2019 19:11

@PinkDaydreams what area are you in again? My ds is just 2 and we're looking for new things to do too. I think we're going back to the trampoline centre in Speke next week for the toddler mornings :)

Fluffyandcuteintown · 02/06/2019 08:22

Can I join? Not on Facebook though! I live in L15 and am early 30s

PinkDaydreams · 04/06/2019 19:30

That trampoline place looks great thank you! He’s not long been walking so I’m going to give it a few more weeks and take him when he’s more stable on his feet. I’ve been to Yellow Sub a few times which he likes. He doesn’t stay interested for very long which is why I’m trying to find cheap/free things to do

jjejj · 09/06/2019 22:18

Kids cove in maghull is great for toddlers. It's for under 5s and is set up with loads of areas all visible and appropriate for small ones. When they get older imagine that in wavertree is fab as well but it's larger and probably better for over 4 onwards

PinkDaydreams · 10/06/2019 13:28

I’ll have a look at kids cove thank you!
Can anyone recommend any afternoon classes for over ones please, I’m not far from the city centre of that helps? Local children’s centre hasn’t got much going on and only in the mornings but my toddler has a sleep then.

WhiteRedRose · 10/06/2019 23:13

Tbh @PinkDaydreams there aren't many. Most parents go pick up their older kids from school in the afternoons so toddler classes are normally always mornings. It's why we always end up in a park somewhere or fishing playdough out of my hair in the afternoon 😁

Hoop has some local listings on the app if you haven't got it on your phone yet.

PinkDaydreams · 11/06/2019 07:03

I think I’ve looked at hoop before but couldn’t find any classes in the afternoon. Makes sense now you’ve explained but I’ve ony one child so have no kids to pick up from school 😂😂
