Whilst we were all still parents-in-waiting we discussed that it might be fun to meet up with the newborns once they'd arrived.
Now that we've had a few weeks to settle down who is up for this.
We're all quite spread out so we'll probably have to find a central location that's fairly easy for us all to get to.
Of course anyone else who wants to see a clutch of new babies and fire up their broody juices is also welcome .

Excellent! I will definately be there. I may be early though as ds2 is due a feed around 11 and I don't want to be on the bus for it!

On an aside - if you have not already looked at the christmas children's party thread - please do. I am organising a children's christmas party for london mumsnetters at Coram Fields. I know most of your little ones will still be babies, but it really doesn't matter as it will be a lovely occasion to meet lots of london families. Please check out the thread!

sponge · 17/09/2004 19:39

I can easily be there about 11 too so will aim to be as early as poss.

Can I come along as well - DD was meant to be August but was way to cosy in me and didn't make an appearance until September.

I used to live round Coram's Fields when I was a student - haven't been back since so it will be a nice trip down memory lane and I can show DD all my old drinking haunts!

sponge · 18/09/2004 10:19

Me too first time into London with babe so nerves might be frazzled when I get there.

IlanaK · 29/09/2004 20:47

I will be there, but early as i need to feed baby around 11. I will also have ds (3) so will let him have a good run around before meeting up with you all so that he will be willing to sit for a bit in the cafe. But I am guessing we won't be able to stay too long as he will want to play.

Eshay · 29/09/2004 20:51

Yep, shall be there with baby in carrier and spew stains all over my front.

sponge · 30/09/2004 09:51

Lovely day for it girls!
Look forward to meeting you all soon.

Apologies, but I just can't come with the weather like this. If I just had the baby, it would be fine as I could sit in the cafe. But with my 3 yera old, he will want to play out on the equipment and it is just too wet. I am very disappointed as i owuld have loved to come. Maybe I can meet with you all another time.

sponge · 30/09/2004 10:26

What a shame Ilanak. God bless the British weather .

Good to meet you all.
Next time we must look into one of the indoor playparks so that toddlers can have a good time too.
No problem SK. Just call me the pram doctor .
