I'm really glad there's a Manchester meet up being organised. I put a new post on about this a few months ago and hardly got any replies - where were you all hiding?

I live in Levenshulme - anyone else near here?

I would love to get to know some new people - does everyone turn up on their own or in groups or what?

Oooo - watching this with interest. I'm a Bramhall first time mum-to-be (33+4) and will be finishing work in a couple of weeks so would love to meet up with other mums/mums to be. I'm pretty new to the South Manc/Stockport area - all my family and friends live in North Manchester and I don't get to see them very often.

Obviously a big old alcohol-fest night out is not for me at the moment but would be interested in something more civilised

i am from worsley (well walkden really but worsley is much posher). i will have a look at my off duty for end july/august when i get in work tomorrow night, then will have a better idea what weekends i am free. am getting excited already, especially as i know TMMJ is a complete loon...so we have something in common.

mmj - rhubarb/custard, kneew it was something to do with sweets....one of the girls was called drpepper, think the other was chloe76 or something like that. dont know if they are still MN'ing?

it seems city centre would be easier for most people in terms of transport etc, so how about printworks, china town?
