Hi all,

Sounds good to me - you've made the trek West. Only fair we return the favour. Garden sounds great

BefnalBub · 06/06/2007 19:23

we need to be nicer to your car this time !

cinnamontam · 06/06/2007 19:24

10th works for me too

cinnamontam · 06/06/2007 19:38

God - I reckon I should ban myself from driving. Might do the bus or tube thing. Will have to see just how far away you are

BefnalBub · 06/06/2007 20:07

its quickest by tube - the central line is fab we took L to oxford street (20 mins by tube) when she was 9 days old by sling and she didn't make a squeak the whole time! bus is easier with a buggy - i don't really have a choice at the mo as can't carry buggy up and down steps post c-section. LOL at you and driving!

Count me in!

Juicylucytoo · 07/06/2007 12:20

Only coming if I have a baby by then

ShowOfHands · 07/06/2007 13:25

The address is 241-245, how big is this place? Are we talking scary big? Cafes in Norfolk only have one table, two wobbly chairs and a hole out back for ablution type stuff. I can presumably drive my tractor all the way into the place as it is clearly palatial.

lilKelBel · 07/06/2007 13:38

Have to check if I can get Andrew's childminder to take him that day - don't feel brave enough to make the trip with two yet! How much do you reckon a taxi is from Waterloo?

cinnamontam · 07/06/2007 14:19

Hey Lilkelbel - I'd be very happy to give you a lift if you like. I reckon we could fit 2 babies in our Golf
I'm just in Putney so not far at all and will be back driving by then THANK GOD

BefnalBub · 07/06/2007 16:05

soh & tam, e mail me at debhandforth at hotmail dot com and i'll let you know where to park if you like!

Sounds grand to me.

elkiedee · 07/06/2007 22:48

Thanks for coming to April to let me know about this - I'll put it in my diary. If I make it, it will probably be via two buses, one takes me most of the way and another the last hop to Shoreditch.

scootermum · 08/06/2007 14:55

D'you reckon I can get a bus from Islington? If not I will drive too..give you a lift TYG if you like?As will practically be passing..

elkiedee · 08/06/2007 18:11

Whereabouts in Islington? The 277 goes from near Highbury Corner down St Paul's Road and Balls Pond Road. I think there may well be other routes from other parts of Islington.

lilKelBel · 08/06/2007 18:46

Ohhh I'm excited now - got my childminder booked!

I think I will just drive (though thanks v much for the offer Tam ). That way we can make a speedy escape if Sienna starts terrorising East London!

Errm what time are we meeting, and where again? [ditsy postnatal brain emoticon]

BefnalBub · 09/06/2007 15:56

OK mums and bundles...we are on! 10th July, 12 o'clockat wild cherry .

Nearest tube is bethnal green and there are quite a few buses - 8 from victoria, 26 from waterloo (get of at cambridge heath station) 106 from finsbury park... Any probs or more details for transport or places to park, email me at the address further down the thread. The cafe is very baby/child friendly and is always full of pregger mums and little bublets...its also round the corner from a beer garden for those who want to go on from the cafe...oh yes, and wild cherry do lovely home made cakes which tend to go very quickly so recommend a prompt arrival...

xx
