Ciao tutti, I've just joined mumsnet and discovered this discussion board.
I'm English aged 30, speak some Italian, and I'm married to my dh, who is Italian/English. We have one ds who is 20 months old & we live in Brighton.
I'd really like to increase my ds exposure to Italian now since he's started talking. He says quite a lot of English words and has good understanding in both languages, but he only really gets some exposure to Italian when dh is at home at the weekends or briefly during the week.
We are looking to meet Italian families to or to know about any toddler groups for Italian families in the Sussex area, but so far I have not had much success.
I heard about a similar toddler group in Hove for Spanish, www.buenosdias.co.uk which looks really fantastic - might be of interest for any Spanish parents out there...
