Thursdays or Fridays best for me. I started looking for places earlier today, but work got in the way

How about Cusworth Hall? There is a nice park and tea room and free admission.

YG, Cusworth is easy to find from the A1, plus you won't have the delights of Doncaster roadworks to cope with (The Rail /Bus station is having a multimillion facelift)

2nd Sept is fine by me.

How about you Dottee?

Gingerbear · 12/08/2004 02:17

bump.

CALLING DOTTEE, COME IN DOTTEEEE!!!!!

dottee · 12/08/2004 23:00

Yep here me honest gulp! (Bloody hell it's brilliant to be wanted! )... what are we talking about?

dottee · 12/08/2004 23:04

Arghhhhhhhhhh! We shall be in Disneyland Paris on that date (can't wait ) I can do the week after by myself? If not I'll come along another time.

Gingerbear · 12/08/2004 23:16

Shall we swap to 'Disney Paris Meet-up' then ?

I did a reccy this lunchtime at Cusworth Hall. There is a lot of renovation work going on at the moment. The lake has been barriered off, all the fish have gone on holiday to another pond, water drained and the sludge is due to be gulped out soon. Some very sad looking coots left, all the ducks had buggered off. But, the tea room did lovely 'proper' ham sarnies, ploughmans lunches, homemade soup and good cuppa and it was a nice afternoon walk around the grounds.

Gingerbear · 12/08/2004 23:19

Oh Dottee, you must come. How about the following week then?

dottee · 12/08/2004 23:26

Ha ha ha - if only I could airlift you all there - wouldn't we have a brill time!

Yes, the following week is fine for me. Thanks for asking .

We come back on 3 Sept. My two go back to school on the 6th..

Gingerbear · 16/08/2004 15:18

Now I am getting confused. Shall we say Thurs 9th September at Cusworth Hall(after 1.30 for Hula) so that Dottee can make it? Didn't realise you were organising something in Leeds for Fri 3rd YG. I will try to make that one instead of 2nd at Cusworth
