jealous - I would have been there like a shot but a bit further than danbury to come now. Miss wandering Chelmsford high street.

michaelad · 30/07/2007 09:00

You are jealous? I'd swap Chelmsford High Street for Australia anytime!

podglet · 30/07/2007 09:04

Hi, I live in Colchester and have a nearly 9 month DS - can I join your party or do I need a Chelmsford post code?

michaelad · 30/07/2007 11:35

Sure you can! Hardly a party atm though..still waiting for the others to notice this thread again

michaelad · 30/07/2007 11:36

We practicly "live" in Colchester Zoo..but I have yet to make it to the actual town

podglet · 30/07/2007 12:20

Colchester's ok, prefer Kent though (PIL live there and I LOVE it) the zoo is great - took DS there for the first time a couple of weeks ago and he loved it, esp the train

Twinkie1 · 30/07/2007 12:24

Hi All

I live in Kelvedon and know no-one as we just moved up here from Kent - can I come along if you have a meet - have DD 7 and DS 2.7 - work Mon - Wed though!

J (otherwise known as Twinkie)

michaelad · 30/07/2007 12:46

Everyone's welcome!

..if only I could drive..

yaddayah · 30/07/2007 13:01

Ooooooo Hello There !

Am about 6 miles from Chelmsford (another non driver) But am very proficient at getting the half hourly bus into Chelmsford (have a 5 year and 3 year old) When are you planning on meeting up ?

Twinkie1 · 30/07/2007 13:03

I drive and if is a day I can come am more than happy to pick up people - only have little golf though!

michaelad · 30/07/2007 16:45

Two kids and a mad cat and half an hour away from Chelmsford..you're not me by any chance are you?

I'm in Writtle!

eidsvold · 30/07/2007 22:13

well yes Aussie is fab but we loved living in Danbury and we miss the wanders over the hill to a fab pub for lunch on the weekend. However we love being able to go and play at the park midwinter with 25 degree temps

michaelad · 01/08/2007 16:23

So, how do we do this? I'd rather not bring my two little ones for the first meet up..very restless boys..you're more than welcome to bring yours though! so I could do Tuesdays and Thursdays! How about the rest of you?

podglet · 02/08/2007 10:11

Both days fine for me. The trains from Col to Chelms are really regular so any time suits me although mornings are better.

If it is to be Starbucks, someone will have to give me directions. I am very good at finding County Hall (my mum works there) and I think I can get to Cafe Nero
