Hi there!
I have been to the surestart baby group opposite KFC which is really good. And I went to the library for baby rhyme yesterday. I really want to try swimming at the sovereign centre on wednesday mornings (I think there is a class there at 11.30 or 12.30?) Have you been?
There is so much to do here for mothers and babies its overwhelming, but I feel like a spare part, as all the other mothers seem to have known each other for ages. IYKWIM.
Would love to meet up and do something. Where abouts in Eastbourne are you?

i go to the baby group on a tuesday too! perhaps i've seen you there i hope i was nice!! lol!

i have been taking dd to the swimming on a wednesday at 1.30, although i couldn't go yesterday. I think a lot of the mums have known each other from attending ante natal classes etc, but i met a few mums on the post natal course i went to at the clinic.
TBH i'm not really a fan of going to baby/toddler groups, (i'm a bit of a hermit!), but i do it more for dd and if i didn't i'd only be on mn!
I live in the town centre so everything is nice and close for us too.

We live just near the town centre too!
I didnt stay long on Tuesday morning as DS was sleepy. I cant believe it has such good facilities though. Hove and Brighton is rubbish for new mums. Or its all really expensive.
I am aiming to go swimming next wednesday. (first time since having LO!) And I will def be at the baby group on Tuesday. There were lots of little baby girls there this week. My DP gets annoyed at me as I always comment on how cute their outfits are, and we have a DS so there isnt so much to choose from! I get jealous!

Ahh! so we'll see you there then! And before I reveal my-real-life-self to you I'm wondering if I need to go back and get all my embarrassing threads deleted?
The things I've talked to other mners about could be embarrassing to me/ amusing to others perhaps? - I'm inclined to type first and think later - not that I have anything to hide!
Ah fuck it! You can like me or lump me! ( if you lump me, can you at least pretend to like me?)

And before I meet you, of course I will need to know: sahm or wohm? bf or ff? puree or blw? yummy mummy or scummy mummy?

  • actually I couldn't give a rats arse, it will be so nice to meet a fellow mner!

If you want you can email me at spell mas @ bt internet . com (no gaps) and we can exchange descriptions (or we could play a guessing game 'Spot the MNer' and I could have my lentil weaver bag with me?!Have you got any crocs? I'd definately spot you then!)
I'll be the one with the babysick down my left hand shoulder - oh hang, we will all have that look...
