Hi girls

ANyone in these areas? Im in Enfield Town and have a 5yr old son in reception class at school. Can meet for playdates after school and weekend and maybe some girlie nites out would be good!!!

Honeypot, do you mean Grovelands park, or is there a pub called Grovelands. if it's the park then it's the same as the one in W hill, it's quite large! Could meet there for a swing and a slide one day!

It is a large park, there may be an entrance is winchmore hill, main entrance is soutgate.

Hi girls, I'm in Enfield too (town)...i'm at home with two dds (2.5 and 1) so kept very busy but always out and about and up for a meet up especially once this horrid weather eases off!

We go to Town park lots, also Grovelands, Oakwood and Southbury soft play, some good parks in Barnet too if you're mobile.

Hi, not bad really, quite clean and well staffed....just a handy place to have nearby for wet days...the teaching pool does mums and toddlers swim sessions too and i've heard the creche is well run....not left them there yet but plan too soon and try a few classes.

Im in enfield town too and my lil boy is 5 (reception class), Southbury softplay is nice but once get over 3 not enough there for them.

We go to clown town in palmers green and flames castle softplay in ponders end more as has bigger play area.

We go to Town Park lots too, hope they have the paddling pool area open soon, was nice last summer!
Lets see if theres any more enfield and barnet mummies!!

Are you new to Enfield or been here a while?How is your ds getting on at school? I came here for work about ten years ago and have stayed put..got the whole applying for schools/nursery places to do yet.....

Hi Lulu ive been in Enfield for about 6yrs, i grew up in Arnos Grove. My lil man is doing well at school, cant believe 1st year at school nearly over!

Yeah the paddling pool at town park last summer was lovely - and free!!!!

Theres a petition going around my sons aschool at the mo as children with siblings in the school didnt get in. seems to be a prob at the m,o with a few schools.

Hope yopur all well. I use a site called netmums.com where ive made a few good friends through using that site, and they all local!!

Thats a bit worrying...we've got the whole dilemma of faith schools vs non faith. We're off chase side (EN2) and our local school is Cof E but have decided not to jump through the hoops to get her in there (totally understand those that do). Just hope she gets into the next nearest as I really want to be able to walk.

Not tried netmums, luckily still meet up weekly with the same Mums I met at antenatal classes, they've been my lifeline as a lot of my friends haven't got kids yet/are working etc...

Hiya

My closest schools are raglan and george spicer but i chose the catholic school at gordon hill. Luckily got in!

The friends i had before i had my lil one i rarely see, all my friends are mainly who ive met through having Jordan, but i qas rubbish at ante natal as i was youngest there didnt keep in touch.
