what would be the best way to get there, and is it worth just coming for the day (with the kids of course) say on the train and going home same day.......or stoppin over???

your all more than welcome to that one too, think liverpool is more central

stoppin you can do it in a day via train takes about 3hrs or so on a good day from here. Costs a fortune though!!!
Actually if you do it in a day might join you as am sure under 5s are free on the train.
