October 2004 meece-up (in September!)

Hi everyone. Right so far:
Me - any time
Toots and Turtle - any time?
Sooz - Mon or Fri day time ok, but evenings better
Florence - anytime Monday, or pm/eve
Geogteach - cannot make evenings but lunch is good

So.... what about a Monday lunchtime? 13th September? Would be lovely to meet any ds/dd's if it's ok with the mums?

Just a suggestion - all ideas welcome!

Right, time for a roll call. So far from this thread I have:

Beansprout
Toots + 1
Geogteach + 1
Sooz

although I have only heard from Bean and Toots through CAT. Please email me through Mumsnet if you are coming and want the address! Hopefully sun will be shining otherwise we will be slightly cramped, but bearable.

Timing - well, earlier the better as far as DS concerned! How about 11 or 11.30am - enough time for chat/let stragglers arrive and then lunch?

Food arrangements - I suggest BYO something to eat - could be share-able eg quiche? Pizza? I will provide juice/tea/coffee, paper plates and something for dessert.

I have digital camera and camcorder, so the recording of the event for posterity assured!

Aww I am so bummed! I would of loved to have come along but have agreed to go off to some swanky hotel with DH as he has offsite with work and they can bring wives with them to take up the spa treatments etc for the weekend. I wont be back in London until evening. Would of loved to have met you all in the flesh, you MUST take photo and post it for those of us who can't make it.

Turtle - bummer!! Hey, I know!! What about we all come with you to the spa? Easy to sneak in four heavily pregnant women and 2 kids, surely?!!

Just a bump for this week. Turtle, can't believe you're passing us up for a spa!!! We will have to do another one I think - maybe sans kids.
