We can do 27th or 30th July or poss 26th (but have to persuade Wilki2000 to come too!). Enjoyed yesterday BTW. How long did DD sleep for Hula??

Hulababy · 18/07/2004 08:14

Good hour or so, but she woke up and was really sick - just as David Blunkett walked past us with a TV crew - oops!!! She didn't eat anything for the rest of the day at all and was quite pale and lethargic. Not sure what or why but she seems fine now.

We can do 26th or 27th. (In London on 30th)

not sure about those dates, my boss is sending me to bristol on the 29th for a meeting and suggested that i just stay in cardiff with my DH for the couple of days before, so extra hols for me yeah!! but any other time sounds great might drag my friend along too

Hulababy · 18/07/2004 21:58

Yeah at holidays katzguk

I can do most days (well, not 5th/6th August though) so what about everyone else?

Yep that would be lovely! We could come in to Sheffield (need to gloat at old work after all!) and maybe we could have a look at the Millenium Galleries exhibition??

how is DD today??

Hulababy · 18/07/2004 22:09

DD is much better today - been to coast. Still off her food but improving, and as bossy as ever!

The Amazing Sounds is pretty good in the galleries. If on my gardens, with a tea party and kick around.

We will see if anyone else is interested in dates, although I am happy for anyone to come for picnic of gardens anyway My MSN isn't working WM, so can only do text or e-mail at moment.

WedgiesMum · 20/07/2004 22:30

katzguk · 20/07/2004 22:35

i know he wants me to go to a meeting in Bristol on thursday and i said but i'm coming back from cardiff on monday would be a pain, so he said do you think you could just stay in cardiff til thursday, so i said what about work, he said don't worry!!! yeah!! leave which doesn't count

Hulababy · 21/07/2004 12:03

Monday sounds great We may have my sister with us but she is pretty normal too And with any luck it'll put her off having children for a few more years yet Seriously though she is home for the week and may be with us staying over, not sure yet. Is that ok?

Amazing Sounds sounds(!) good. I have a family pass which gives me unlimited access anyway!

What do you fancy doing for either lunch or tea? If it is nice we could have a picnic in either the Peace Gardens or or my gardens - room to play ball, have bubbles out, etc. and no one else ever uses it bizarely.

Just let me know times.

Fine by me Hula! She seemed perfectly normal when I met her .

Your place for bubbles etc sounds fun if you can bear it!

If anyone else is coming then meet at 11am for Amazing Sounds at the Millenium Gallery shop. After for lunch can be arranged if anyone is coming just for that but please let us know then we won't miss you!!

WedgiesMum · 24/07/2004 12:59

BUMP!

Hulababy · 24/07/2004 13:07

If the weather is nice, how about a picnic in the Peace Gardens. If really warm, childreen could bring swimmers and a towel and run about under the fountains (if not too busy).

We went after the trip to A&E(!!!) yesterday and it was lovely. Took sandwiches, drinks and fruit, had a sit on the grass and a play. Didn't have swimmers as unplanned but Dd couldn't resist the water. She started with a paddle in the running water down the sides of the gardens, but got so wet she ended up in her pants and t-shirt under the fountains drenched. Glad I had spare pants, and she just wore her pinafore home on it's own. Was lovely and not too busy.

Saw Dottee whilst there too; great to see you again

We had a great time and DD loved the fountains She is now fast asleep in bed, worn out. Great to see everyone again and hope to do it again soon!

Surprisingly neither of mine fell asleep on the way home at all. But went to bed early

A pleasure as always!
