My 2 are 5 and 14 months.

fairyjay · 19/03/2007 13:18

I could come along and tell you how they all get so much worse as they get older!!

Littlefish · 19/03/2007 13:27

Sleepycat - you're just down the road from me! I live in the village that has the scarecrow weekend.

lovelybird · 19/03/2007 14:05

Hi all, can I keep an eye on this thread and maybe tag long as well?
I'm in Wordsley, Stourbridge. I work 4 days a week and have a DS 2.2 and am pg with no2.

BigHotMama · 19/03/2007 14:39

Thanks for remembering me nappy addict! My ds is 7 months old and I'd love to come to a meet up..I live in Tipton, can drive so am quite flexible and dont work during the day so any day is good for me! I'll send you an email hun!

Littlefish · 19/03/2007 15:03

I went recently to Ballyhoo in Cradley Heath. It's much more comfortable than Chilli Kiddies in Stourbridge, plus they have good areas for babies and older children, plus a football area too. Their cafe serves reasonable food - wraps, paninis etc. I think it was about £2.75 for an adult and 2 children in the same family.

BigHotMama · 19/03/2007 15:05

Littlefish that sounds great to me!

BornToBeAPrincess · 19/03/2007 15:16

Hi everyone,

Littlefish do you mean Hullaballo ?

I'm in Cradley, 2 dds 3 and 6 months. I work but would love to come if I can get a day off

exbury · 19/03/2007 17:20

Hello - can I sneak in from the Worcestershire meet up thread?

I am the other side of Kiddi from most of you but only ~10 miles away - would be interested in day time meetup in the holidays...

And I saw someone mention baby swimming in Kidderminster - anyone know anything about it? Please? I am going to have to stop going to DD's class when I go back to work as it is on the wrong day and I am desperate to find another one...

Littlefish · 19/03/2007 18:08

Hi Exbury.

Both Aquatots and Babaseahorse do baby swimming sessions in Kidderminster. I think they both have websites.

Yes, BTBAP - that's the place! Hullaballoo, not Ballyhoo

If we're goingt to meet there, I would suggest that we avoid the Easter holidays as it is ridiculously busy. Weekdays are nice and quiet, particularly Mondays.

TurkishDeelite · 19/03/2007 18:53

Hullaballoo sounds like a good place to meet!

Thanks, Littlefish - see my profile for DD swimming - I really want her to carry on, so I will check out both classes and see which (if either) we can fit in.

Littlefish · 19/03/2007 21:48

Sleepycat - I thought that would be a complete giveaway! The village starts with Bel!!!!!

emmatomATO · 20/03/2007 09:13

Fairyjay - I'm a ahem, 'mature' mum too and I have a 10 year old ds going on 17 and a 7 year old dd going on 31, so I'm child free during the day and can sometimes feel fragile about larger gatherings, so if ever you want a coffee during the day I'm around.

slalomsuki · 20/03/2007 11:18

Ladies

I have just seen this and I have no idea how you knew where I lived. I guess I have a big mouth.

I can make some days in the week with out the kids...not wendesdays and if its the weekend I will have my three with me, aged 5,4,and 1 but I am flexible. Don't mind travelling and looking forward to what you arrange.
