West London April dinner and booze-up

Thought it was time to start planning the next one. Let's see where haven't we been recently. Last one was Chiswick (great restaurant by the way), beofre that St. Margarets and Twickers... How about Kew/Richmond for the next one? Or possibly Kingston?

A while back we went to Old Orleans and that was good.

I wonder if MrsBigD might come out and join us. I'm sure someone could give her a place to sleep. Anyway, just thought I'd get the conversation going....

Dates, anyone? Can we do a Fri or Sat on this one? It's murder showing up for work in the morning. Say April 13/14? or 20/21?

Kingston would be good for me, then I don't have to drive. I can do any of the dates but prefer Saturdays as I can be sure dh will be home to look after kids.

May I also make what might be a silly suggestion?
If anyone has a big enough house and can't get a sitter, what about we all just go there and phone for Indian/ Chinese and bring our own booze?

Oh look whose here. Hasn't been on in God knows how long, and now she demanded we firm up a date NOW.

Where are we going? What about Old Orleans in Kingston? Or Tony Roma? Or Frankie and Benny? All very close to bus and train. I believe Bus 65 comes down from Ealing, and train from Richmond.

I'm too stony broke for a night out (as I'm away spenidng money at Easter) but if anyone wants to come around to mine for takeaway I can host up to 8 people.

Maybe we could have a poor people's night out and a rich peoples night out

Well it would be a little wierd if you brought the travel cot without DD . When is your exam maybe we could arrange it at the end of the month in addition to any other "do" for those who want to go out and dazzle.

Dress will be formal by the way - need to maintain my reputation with the neighbours.

I'm happy to do takeaway too, but could we do one in Kingston at some point so I don't have to drive then I can have a few drinks .
