All is quiet now - but dh looked a little grey. Aparently ds really went for it just at bedtime story time for Dd - and Dd was deeply unimpressed at being uninterupted. [smugly adjusting my competent mother halo out of sight of Dh]

Well I arrived safely at my salsa venue and danced till 3! It was great.

Meeting you all was truly great. I have to say that I was incredibly shocked by some of the revelations, but life is a funny thing.

Can't believe no-one mentioned the special guest. Must look for other threads.

Well, I MUST pay more attention to the time next time. Jura, after leaving you at waterloo, I made a run for the District line only to discover there were no more Westbound trains. Met a couple from Twickenham who were also trying to get home. They led me to a bus outside of Wetminster which took us to Kingston, and then I got a cab to Sunbury and finally arrived home at about 2:00am.

What I want to know is why a thriving city like London doesn't have trains and tubes after midnight???? Oh well, it appears I'm not too old for a late night out after all.
