Hello all

Just 2 weeks to go to Spa day

Just wanted to find out how many people are planning on coming out afterwards for something to eat. Can then decide if we might need to book in advance or not!

And what do you all fancy with regards to food?

Non Spa-attendees are welcome to join us after the Spa for drinks.food too - we will be finished at the Spa by about 6:15-6:30pm I would think.

Sheffield city centre has loads of different restaurants on offer - various food type and various budgets

So sign up!

I will be there for the meal. I have a room booked at the cutlers hotel.

Chines or indian are favourites with me.

purpleturtle · 23/02/2007 12:34

I'm planning to go out afterwards - haven't quite decided whether to pop home in between Spa and meal to bf ds2, or whether to risk him going down on a bottle.

Hulababy · 23/02/2007 12:36

Either way won't be a problem I am sure purpleturtle We can go for a drink first whilst waiting!

Isn't it the 3rd of March we're going out?

WinniethePooh · 23/02/2007 14:37

You are right Purpleturtle.

It is Saturday 3rd March.

Hulababy · 23/02/2007 14:39

LOL, yes you are right. Doing really well with this aren't I (wrong date and wrong number of weeks) - oops!

Count me in for the meal too, I eat anything!

Gingerbear · 23/02/2007 17:39

Hula, it is the 3rd March not the 2nd!!

Gingerbear · 23/02/2007 17:41

I would love to come for a meal, but I will have to see how I feel on the day. I get pretty tired these days by 7pm, in bed for 8, lol!

purpleturtle · 23/02/2007 20:24

Won't you be all beautifully relaxed and rejuvenated by the Spa, though Gingerbear?

Go on, you know you want to

roisin · 24/02/2007 19:43

Yes please count me in for meal, and Wedgiesmum!

My friend hasn't decided yet whether she wants to come for a meal or not: it depends on how friendly and welcoming you all are to her at the Spa

I eat anything! Like Chinese, Thai, Indian, Italian, English ....!

drkgpink · 25/02/2007 13:56

Count me in for the meal, I have booked my own treatments at the spa so will meet you there. CHinese sounds fine, guess there's the noodle bar in west one or one of the many buffet places.

Hulababy · 26/02/2007 09:03

The Noodle bar, East One, is where we have been the last two times after the Spa.

Just need to see if anyone fancies a change!

PandaG · 26/02/2007 13:04

Sorry to sound anti-social but I can't make the meal as I'm going to a friend's dad's stag do (don't worry, I am female!!) Sorry

WinniethePooh · 26/02/2007 16:40

NO problem Worzella, you are not being unsociable. In the past I have had to get the train back to Birmingham fairly soon after finishing at the spa.

Hulababy · 26/02/2007 19:49

That isn't a problem at all worzella; completely understand. When I first started the Spa thread this time round I didn't think I'd be able to maake the meal either as was supposed to be at a ball - fortunately date of school ball has changed to the Friday afterwards

OP posts:
katzg · 27/02/2007 10:58

i could go for some noodles!! DH hates noodles so we never eat there!

Hulababy · 27/02/2007 21:02

Looking like East one again, lol!

Looks like lots of us, so think it might be worth booking somewhere. Wjhjat does everyone think?
