It would seem from the west country thtreads that there are a few of us in this area.
Shall we have a get together???

Okay Thurs or Fri is looking good...
Morning or Afternoon?
Space Adventure would be fine by me but I dunno where it is, never been there.
How do others feel about this???
C5? Hayls? CP3?

I'm near Cirencester. Have never been to Space Adventure either, is it the place on Stratton Rd? (my office is next door!) Jolly Roger OK too, although I think Jungle Bungle is sometimes better? Will be bringing dd2 (age 3), but she is not fussed over location (she has special needs, so not very mobile). How about Friday 9th July am??

xoz · 01/07/2004 00:13

That would be okay by me...

Hayls · 01/07/2004 20:15

Sounds Ok to me too. Need very precise directions though! Will bring dd who is 5 months

cuppy · 01/07/2004 20:18

Fine by me too. How old are all the children though? Cos if theyre all babies then we can go to outlet, but if theyre older , space adventure. What do you all think??

Hayls · 02/07/2004 22:01

Either fine by me- dd is a bit small to be bothered about where we go! I know how to get to the OUtlet Village (unfortunately for dh. Think he's going to confiscate my bank card)

cuppy · 02/07/2004 22:57

yep same here dd 4.5 months so she ll probably sleep the whole time!!

xoz · 03/07/2004 00:13

My 2 are 3.5 and 21 months, so it sounds like they're the only ones who'll need entertaining. Thay'd probably be okay at the outlet village for a while (esp if they got McDonalds for lunch as a reward!). I could investigate the creche option for them for a while. They do like the play area but it's not exactly a relaxing time for me (and no good if it rains either). It sounds like going to Space Adventure would be a bit of a waste to me coz no one else needs it and my 2 have never been there so I'd just need to be watching them the whole time (esp kamikaze dd2)

xoz · 07/07/2004 12:23

So its Friday the 9th July at the Outlet Village,
What time suits everyone else? 10am?? 11 am??
Where should we meet???? Food court?? Other suggestions???

OP posts:
happymummy1 · 07/07/2004 22:49

Hi that sounds great for friday about 11am,i think the food court would be good idea,if thats ok with everyone else,my ds is almost 3 months old.

Hayls · 08/07/2004 22:07

11am is best for me if that suits everone else as I'm coming from Gloucester and want to avoid the A417 traffic as much as possible. Food Court is fine- isn't it quite big though? Shall we all put pink carnations in our hair?! OR carry a copy of the Daily Telegraph?

xoz · 10/07/2004 17:44

11am Fri 9th July Outlet Village Food Court....
How about we meet in front of the big green train, and be the ones with pushchairs ?!?!?!
Anyone got a better suggestion on how to identify ourselves? A big sign maybe??? all wear mumsnat tshirts??? (I don't have on by the way but if anyone else does that would be a sure giveaway)

OP posts:
Caroline5 · 10/07/2004 21:14

Will try and be there!

Hayls · 12/07/2004 21:43

I'm really sorry but it looks doubtful for me on Friday. I'm still trying to get the better of a kidney infection and so far I'm losing so it's unlikely (and I was looking forward to shopping!) If by any miracle I feel better on Friday then I will come but if not I hope you all have a great time and I hope we can all meet up some other time
Hayls

xoz · 13/07/2004 00:26

Hayls - Sorry to hear you're poorly. I hope you're better in time...
Is everyone else still okay for it???
I don't want to turn up on my own.....

OP posts:
cuppy · 13/07/2004 23:25

O.K well who is actually coming? Cos the weather is really really pants, and Im thinking is it better to postpone until there can be more of us?
ESpecially if people are driving in thos weather. Its not nice.

I will still come as long there will be a few of us there. But am happpier to postpone until ,more people / better weather. What does everyone think?

cuppy · 13/07/2004 23:26

oops sorry , fogot to say sorry youre poorly hayls.

happymummy1 · 13/07/2004 23:30

I agree i would rather meet up when there is more of us.Really sorry you hav'ent been well hayls.

cuppy · 13/07/2004 23:41

OK well will check this thread tomorrow morning and hopefully we will have heard from xos and caroline 5.

xoz · 13/07/2004 23:45

If everyone else wants to postpone that's ok by me... I'll take dd's to toddler group instead (our normal Friday morning activity). I'll check in tommorrow morning and see what the verdict is. Should we make it next Friday instead???

OP posts:
Caroline5 · 13/07/2004 23:57

Postponing is fine by me - next Friday OK also if morning.
