Thought I'd start a thread so we can list on who would be able to act as back-up including 'response time' if her dh/dad etc. are non-contactable on the big day.

MrsBigD - happy to drive over and either look after kids or load in Foxie an drive to hospital. Response time: ca. 1h

Day off day, prob take 20 mins as will have dd
WAFH day, over an hour so Thurs/Fri prob no good.

however can direct my mother to yours with dd to take over babysitting at the least!

Thanks for all your support Grrls I will check that I've got asll your numbers on my mobile.

What would be helpful is if you put the times I can and can't contact you tooo i.e. is 11pm-8am a no no? Or school run times? etc etc

Its very reassuring to know you are there - hopefully I won't need to bother you....[fingers crossed].

Anytime after 6am (will turn up in PJs!) until about 7pm any day. After that dd is in bed.

This week I have no evening cover and next week only Thursday evening cover. Following week I have Weds & Thurs cover so can do overnights as well but only those days when Ma is here.

I wish I could volunteer my services. But, sadly, I am chained to my desk from 7:30 to 6:00pm Mon - Fri. Actually, I could tuck out at about 5:00 and if they didn't like it I'd smile and say "sod off" (which sounds really stupid in an American accent but I'd still do it).

Foxie, you have my mobile -- even if you didn't know who I was yesterday.

You can call it 24 hours a day. I'll turn it off when sleeping.

Foxy am available for taxi service Mon, Tues morning, Wed until 3pm, all day Thursday, Fr Morning. I might be flexable other times, so if you need to, just ask. I'm sure you will be fine anyway .

available at night as dh will be home to look after kids

School run for 9 and 3 so available before or after if need be.

Depending on time I'll have either no kids, 1 kid or 2 kids with me

Next week will possibly be available everyday, only daytime not 6.30pm-6.30am.

After that start work, so will be avaialble Tues, Friday Sat Sundays.

SFX babysitting (local)
Paddle Mon, Tues, Weds 6am-7pm + Thurs evening 29 Feb (25 minutes away)
Quokka - Lifts to QC: Mon, Tues am, Weds until 3pm, Thurs, Fri am (30 mins away)
2cute Babysitting (30 mins away)
Puds Babysitting (30 mins away)
Eluesis Weekends only (45 mins sway)
MrsD Can do nights babysitting (1 hr away)

Please correct the list if its wrong. I will print off and add mobile numbers and keep with my hospital notes. If anyone is willing to give me their home number, please could you text to me? Thanks

BTW the babysitting is only short term in case there is any delay in my Dad getting here and I have to leave quickly. It won't be babysitting for the entire labour LOL!!!
