hello, I'm living in Northampton, with a 20 month old son, not from round here tho' so talk of the bradlaugh is over my head. I hear what you are saying about smoking and gigging tho', i gave up when i got pregnant and refused point blank to go in any smoky environment in case i started licking the ashtrays!

well my ds is only 8 weeks old, can be left with dh for short periods but he tends to panic very quickly. it would depend if it was a weekday/evening/weekend type of thing. do many of you work?

Well,o fhte second link, Needle and Awl (Rushden) and Pauls Pirates (Wellingborough) and Priory (also Wellingborough) are all good...but obviously they are not IN Northampton...
There is a softplay in Northampton, or just outside, Berzerker or something like that in Moulton I think...that is meant to be good.
Not sure though if Softplay is what people want to do, of course...!

I wouldn't rate Bezerk much - it fairly shabby. Zoobie Island has shut down. The best place to meet is Hullabaloo if you want soft play in Northampton. Alternatively Kids Kingdom in Kettering has been refurbished and is huge. It's also quiet on week days .
