i asked him if there was any chance of being served next (having been there for 10 mins) and he immediately motioned one of the small minions to serve me, which they did....before justinemn and stich....which was a bit bad of me....but i did get them served next!!!

also he was cashing up, which leads me to suspect that he might be head barman.

That sounds about right, soph. There definitely needs to be a mix of talk and dancing. Last year kind of worked, although the sitting at tables for food thing split everyone up for most of the evening, but it was good that there was a dancing area and a talking area within the same venue.
