It is literally, just off the junction.

Sorry, Jools and I are not coming. Between us we just have too much on between now and Christmas (JT is up and down Lakes to Mcr like a yoyo!) and I'm in charge of the school infant party that afternoon. Just not great timing for us I'm afraid.

Would love to meet up sometime other than Christmas though.

It was nice to meet you all on sat and I wouldn't mind going to another meet up and meeting even more midlands mn'ers. Not sure what my off duty is for dec, but I'm sure something can be arranged for the 15th.

Count me out I will be at work till midnight and no chance of booking time off over christmas as it is our busiest time.

I have just received a call from the Village Hotel.

ALL FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS ARE FULLY BOOKED.
Thursday 14th of Sunday 17th are available though.

Please post which date would suit you best.

THere is a possibility that I have have another party on the 15th, but as this was arranged first this one takes priority.

Please reply by wednesday if you still want to go out somewhere on the 15th.

If there are no replies I will go ahead and book up with other group.

mB - ive spoken to the herons nest which is lovely you may remember - they dont actually take bookings but have told me that if we call on the day they will ensure we have a table. possibly a good idea for a saturday 16th?

I work late on Saturdays. I could do either the 14th or 17th though if it helps.

Well if gobblidigook's not coming after all, we don't need to be in North Birmingham so much.

Heron's Nest actually suits me better, and am fairly flexible about dates in December at the moment, except for Friday 8th.

Saturdays get a bit awkward due to a miserable Dh, but I'll see what I can do, the only thing is I want to have a drink (for a change) so will possibly need to stop down that way, which means I'll need to book a hotel!!!! But I dont want to do this if this goes t*ts up
