Echo that esbee. Was a lovely day Tired now from all that sun and Ds has red legs. Gonna start up the barbie now

Mo2 · 15/05/2004 20:19

Lovely day - sorry I don't get to talk to you all more... as I predicted my two DSs were all over the place with excitement.

what fab weather... Yes - must do it again soon

Mo2 · 15/05/2004 20:20

whoops - clearly I meant 'didn't' get to talk to you all...

Piffleoffagus · 15/05/2004 20:39

Truly a gorgeous day! I too am red in the arms, was meant to be going out tonight, but sitter cancelled and DD is still cruising around, not being remotely obliging anyway!
DH was relieved to note not one hairy trucker amongst you...

emmatmg · 15/05/2004 21:11

Got home about 7pm, after staying until they virtually kicked us out. We ALL had great fun on the big slides in the (empty) play barn, they were great!

Disappointed I didn't get there earlier to meet you all properly.
DS2 who was violently sick at the last MN meet-up took it upon himself to go exploring and I was almost getting to that mad panicky stage when DH found him waiting in the queue for the trampolines!!!! I think I'll leave him at home next time as he seems determined to cause utter havoc on the day.
DS3 had his first taste of ice cream.........quite a large taste actually as we had a fight to prize it from his hands. Ice cream at 7.5 months will this get be barred from MN?

Lovely day and a will definatley go again.

jmg1 · 16/05/2004 10:07

Good to see you all.

My 3 smunchkins had a great day and were worn out, they all fell asleep later!

Charlie, I think you got some dust on your buggy what are you going to do?

charlieplus3 · 16/05/2004 10:11

Kayleigh · 16/05/2004 10:51

It was a brilliant place and ds1 and ds2 had a ball. We didn't leave till 5:45 so I probably walked straight past you emmatmg without realising it. I'm just sorry we didn't spend much time with you all. I hope you didn't think I was being rude.

Stopped off at Burger King on the way home and got home at 7:30 with two very tired little boys.

Would love to do it again

jmg1 · 16/05/2004 16:00

charlie, wasn't sure if you would feel the need for a new buggy

Yes I did go out last night, not on a meetup though.

Does your dp want to go out for some drinking lessons, he mentioned he's out of practice!

charlieplus3 · 16/05/2004 17:02

He definatley doesnt need any lessons in that department Jmg, he always gives it the hard done by story when he meets another male species. Shame on you for encouraging him

Piffleoffagus · 16/05/2004 20:12

you got one like that too Charlie? Hmmm likely story indeed, DH spent a year in Brussels sans moi, and developed an incerdible threshold for alcohol, which will never wear off, not enough to stop him talking unintelligible bollox though
Now he would leap at the chance of a brew out...
poor deprived soul...

geogteach · 16/05/2004 20:23

Good to meet you all - definately some red arms and faces in this family, how come its only the females who burn in this household?

scully · 17/05/2004 08:34

We really enjoyed it, a great afternoon! dd entertained friends at our bbq all evening with what animals she saw and the noises they make!
