I haven't booked a room yet - I guess I had better get a move on!

WelshBoris · 11/11/2006 17:43

Bump for nappiesgalore

NappiesGalore · 11/11/2006 17:45

boris... thank you!

Dropinthe · 11/11/2006 20:41

Right! I came last year-haven't hardly been on Mumsnet since-have hardly any time to read thread-where and when are you going??

Pinkchampagne · 11/11/2006 20:43

Next Saturday at a place called Ruby's. It is apparantly at the back of Selfridges.

imaginaryfriend · 12/11/2006 15:29

dropinthe! Please come. At least there'll be someone there I recognise in RL. If you find one of the earlier threads you'll see all the details on it, I can't rememer off-hand, but we could even meet up slightly beforehand if you want to?

imaginaryfriend · 12/11/2006 15:34

Incidentally what kind of time is everyone roughly planning on getting there? I'm going to aim for about 8.30-9.00 pm as soon as I've got dd to bed and dp's in from work really.

Quootiepie · 12/11/2006 15:35

im getting there early before everyone groups up! 7.30/8ish... make a head start at the bar

crunchie · 12/11/2006 20:17

A quick reminder, get there BEFORE 9pm as there is a door charge after that time.

imaginaryfriend · 12/11/2006 21:47

Oh yes, I forgot that. I'll aim for nearer to 8pm then I expect.

ImaVeryMerryChristmasFairy · 12/11/2006 22:56

Just curious to know - when you get there - are you going to say "hello I'm xxxx aka Imafairy" or "hello, I'm xxxx"
(and how are you going to recognise each other?)

imaginaryfriend · 13/11/2006 10:58

That's why we're all supposed to wear badges. With our MN names illustrated on them. I guess it'll be an instant icebreaker.

I still haven't made mine though ... need to get onto that ...

Are you all going to do stick on badges, or ones with pins?

Quootiepie · 13/11/2006 11:02

ill pin some clap trap to myself probably lose it on the way/forget it anyway....

mustrunmore · 13/11/2006 11:04

how on earth am I going to pictorially represent my name? other than a pic of a fat belly ?

serenity · 13/11/2006 11:11

CRUNCHIE - when we get to Rubys do we just ask for the section reserved for Mumsnet, or has it been reserved under another name?

fennel · 13/11/2006 11:13

mustrunmore - some pristine running shoes with the shop label still attached?

or a picture of a heart attack?

imaginaryfriend · 13/11/2006 11:23

I was wondering that serenity ... Is there only one main entrance?

imaginaryfriend · 13/11/2006 11:24

fennel, I like your first suggestion for mustrunmore.

Any suggestions for me?

CountessDracula · 13/11/2006 11:26

Have always said I am coming!

CountessDracula · 13/11/2006 11:26

WelshBoris · 13/11/2006 11:26

OP posts:
imaginaryfriend · 13/11/2006 11:37

But there's a poster called Soren Lorensen and either I pretend to be her all night thus avoiding anything embarrassing that later may come back to haunt me or I spend all evening explaining I'm not her.

CountessDracula · 13/11/2006 11:38

CountessDracula · 13/11/2006 11:39
