This is for all those who are getting scared and put off by the "what to wear" threads. Just to reassure them that not everyone is going to turn up looking like Victoria Beckham. If you turn up wearing jeans then I will instantly like you!

Seriously, don't feel under pressure to turn up looking anything but yourselves. You will be far more sparkly, entertaining and relaxed if you wear something YOU want to wear.

I'm not buying anything new and I shall not be wearing an off the shoulder dress or anything like that. I shall rummage in my wardrobe the day before for something that is passable.

So be yourselves and enjoy the do!

however maybe if you want to use this as a chance to dress up - then why not.

if your afraid your going to be judged
of course you will be.

Rhubarb · 06/11/2006 09:58

What, like fancy dress you mean?

Will I be judged if I come as a turnip?

fgs you lot you can't go to a xmas party looking a mess Tis the season of glitz and glamour and you would all do well to remember that

Quootiepie · 06/11/2006 10:00

I started that thread because you all seem like you'd be very glamorous Im wearing jeans now though

Carmenere · 06/11/2006 10:00

I am going to wear trousers and a top. I know this because it is what I wear most of the time, there might be a slight variance on the theme(I might wear heels) but it will be basically that. Might get my hair done and will wear some make up but I will try to be comfy because I want to have fun and not worry about what I look like.

Quootiepie · 06/11/2006 10:01

Rhubarb - bet you had a sneaky peek though!

Tortington · 06/11/2006 10:01

turnip/oasis/d&G

whtever.

fennel · 06/11/2006 10:02

I might wear jeans. Though this week my school has a "ladies fashion night" (ugh, aagh, but have to go as am new to school and need to Meet People) so will have the chance to buy horrible glittery glam stuff maybe.

Quootiepie · 06/11/2006 10:03

this is turning into a "what are you wearing" thread aswell

Rhubarb · 06/11/2006 10:03

I did have a sneaky peek QP and nearly fell off my chair!

So I think I shall start a scruffy movement and go as a turnip cause Custy says it's ok!
