So then...going by when people are away etc am going to suggest an evening meet up for a meal out on one of the following dates
fri dec 1st
sat dec 2nd
thurs dec 7th
fri dec 8th
sat dec 9th.

Pick a date and will go with most popular.

Also where do you want to meet???
In town
Somewhere quieter like Allerton etc
anywhere else suggested..

Also just to confuse dont know if anyone wants to do a xmas meet with little ones. I organised one a couple of years ago at farmer teds and we did a little secret santa. Dont know how intersted anyone is????

gunpowderjaamyandplot · 03/11/2006 16:06

Cheers for the new thread Nemo! I'd be up for a childrens christmas meet, too.
Thanks for a lovely time at Grandmas, SBOL and Browny. DS was as cute as ever, Browny and DD was her usual little lady self, SBOL!
Well, we actually decided that town would be best for Christmas do as is most central for people coming from north, south and east Liverpool. Thought it would be easiest as then we could get trains/lifts in and share taxis home. But since none of us 3 are regular visiters into town we were a bit stumped as to where, though. Place we went in feb was good and relaxed, though a bit crowded. SBOL suggested a Mexican near the Bus station, there are a few places round there - handy for trains/buses etc. But as usual we're open to offers...
I can't do 9th.
So we're down to:
fri dec 1st
thurs dec 7th
fri dec 8th

joec · 03/11/2006 16:24

prob the 8th best for me. could go on 1st but dont fancy sitting through a wedding if i have got a hangover !!!!!

gunpowderjaamyandplot · 03/11/2006 16:43

Very wise joec...
Thurs 7th
Fri 8th (preferred)
Can anyone NOT do the 8th??
Do I want to sit through a panto with a hangover?? Suppose I managed the Fimbles with one...can panto be any worse? oh no it can't...oh yes it can...

superblastofflips · 03/11/2006 18:28

8th is fine by me x

superblastofflips · 03/11/2006 18:29

jaamy xx

whizzbangwhoosh · 03/11/2006 20:24

I dont mind where we go, but am driving so i can do lifts if you want. that widens the area a bit and we could maybe look outside of town, which is a pita at xmas time!! its me SA2 btw, yes and i can vouch for lulu shes a good egg!!

klazzykidz · 03/11/2006 21:35

Hi Gals !! Count me in on the 8th - will do my hangover on the 9th - off on my jols to Barcelona on the 10th ~ ~ must remember to pack by the 7th LOL

klazzykidz · 03/11/2006 21:40

Just a thought Dh & Ds both drive so we can fill 1 of their cars for lifts, the other can babysit Dd - so could pick up and drop off 3 of you on route to wherever we go from Maghull. Now Who lives where ?

BonfireNemo1977 · 03/11/2006 21:41

There are a few places around town by the bus stop, la tasca for tapas, an italian, mexican and chinese I think. Easy to park as there is a car park right by although we may need to book.
There is also somewhere like lark lane which isnt too far south and not too far from centre but again fairly central so up to y'all.

jaamy what panto you going to see??? We are going to see chitty chitty bang bang on the 14th..well Ds and I with some friends..cant wait.

The tapenyaki is also a great night out.

BROWNY · 03/11/2006 22:48

Hiya! Well you lot have been busy while I've been entertaining three extra kids in my house tonight . 8th is fine by me too and I'm also up for a Children's Xmas meet up too.

Jammy, really lovely to see you and your little ones today, I could just take your dd1 home with me, she's adorable... my ds2 thinks so too.

SBOL's, good to catch up with you after so long, your dd made me laugh when she put her finger to her lips to tell my ds2 to be quiet!

Klazzy, where/what is tapenyaki? Not that it matters to me, I'll go anywhere that's nice!.

BonfireNemo1977 · 03/11/2006 23:03

the other place of course for a really cheesy night out is the chinese karaoke bar..I had my hen night there and they do a little disco aswell and its quite cheap but good funny...although will warn you that they tend to make at least one person from table get up and do a song...
