NEW TO N16 -NEED TO MAKE NEW MATES FOR ME AND DS TODDLER

Hi All, although a london girl i've just recently moved to n16 and would love to meet some other mum's and dads with toddlers in the area to go to the park, have play days with. none of my friends have kids and finding it a bit lonely some days so would be great to make some new friends for me and son who is 2.

Oh Kate, sorry I've just moved from N16 - have a two year old DD. Otherwise would have loved to meet up.

Try the playgroup (I think it's called Toddler Time) on Defoe Road - Thursday mornings from 9.30 - 11.30. (get there early as it gets busy). Nice bunch of people and LOADS of toys + a sing song at the end. Your DS will love it!

N16 is great - am sad to go!

I'm in N16 but with a new baby rather than a toddler so can't really help re play dates! There are lots of groups and activities - the NCT have coffee mornings in Clissold Park (tho haven't tried them yet). It is a great area - hope you enjoy living here

Hi Kate. I live in highbury and go to clissold most days. None of my friends have children either and I know what you mean about how lonely it can get. My son is 3 and my daughter is 8 months. I'm back to work soon but only PT so would be up for meeting some time....

Hi, there my daughter is nearly 9 months and I have recently given up work to be a SAHM - woo hoo! So I am looking for all the clubs and meets in N16 too... The One o Clock club in Clissold Park (free/donations) is always nicely busy.

Hi Kate, I live on the outskirts of N16, in Clapton (E5). I have a daughter of 2yrs and a son of 4mths, I tend to stick quite close to home as I don't have a double-buggy, but do occassionally make it over to clissold. If you fancied Rucksack Music, it's on a friday morning @ 10am in Springfield park (Clapton) let me know if you fancy meeting up sometime. Kerry (29).

It is amazing how many babies you see, but how hard it is to meet them and their mums!
Kerpots, what is rucksack music? I like Springfield Park, so would be interested in going there more!

My baby is now 10 months. Will probably head to Messy Play at Fernbank at 10am Tues and the Soft play thing on Thurs 10am at Yogahome this week if anyone wants to meet up and do coffee after? Also Storytime weds 2-3pm at Stoke Newington library...
