Brighton Feb meet up

Hello lovelies. Meet up on the 21st. Spread the word. Any suggestions for where to go?

Has anyone been to Carlucci's? Al Duomo's are always very accommodating (plus very local for cocktail bars!!)

Went awhile ago and the food was nice. I'm up for that unless anyone doesn't like it. We went with my dad who is gluten free and as I recall he was ok finding something he liked on the menu.
Now, who's coming?

like carcluccios a lot but can you book on a Saturday? Very child friendly so be lots of little uns there x

Count me in, although my attendance record hasn't been great for the last few meets, I'm hoping I can make this one! Prefer Al Duomo to carluccios, think the food is better and less kids running round

Al Duomo looks quite nice on Tripadvisor.

Sabai is much more highly rated on Tripadvisor actually.

I might also crash - coming from Eastbourne direction - so not such a crasher as Hearts!!

Are you going to the pub afterwards? I'd quite like to pop in for one if you'll have me, but I'm not a restauranty type at the best of times.

We normally go on to a pub afterwards that's when it gets messy

magi I would have thought it'd be easier for Hearts to come from London compared to Eastborne? Don't you have to change at Lewes and all that malarkey? Or is there a direct train?

This is Pixie, btw, I figured that it was about time that I had a rat themed name seeing as I'm thoroughly obsessed with my mischief and this was as inventive as I could come up with for the moment I also like the Catan reference and didn't want to get rid of it just yet :(

I've got DS plus my friend's two DDs sleeping over Saturday night so will not be able to stay long after lunch (or get wasted ).
I've been wanting to try Sabai for a while!

I just have to convince DH that travelling to Brighton to meet strangers off t'internet is no bad thing. He usually has no problem with London meet-ups so I am hopeful. He doesn't even mind when I have to go south of the river [sorry]

There appears to be a direct train from London Bridge too. This is all looking very promising.

I have an uncle in Crawley..... could I make plans to stop in and see him on the way home or in everyone's experience will I be far too messy?!?!!
