Right, we have Greeny on board now. My next targets are Filly and Aitch.

Come on ladies, you know you want to.

Has no-one else got someone they would secretly or even overtly like to meet?

SPACEdoutzombieCADET · 14/10/2006 23:06

nope, cos im not going anyway!..its too far for me too come since i moved

TheBlairAitchProject · 14/10/2006 23:53

i'd love to, Franny, but i'm frightened of the fish. Actually, pre-christmas is the busiest time of year in my job for a number of reasons. love to meet you another time, though. and filly. loads of others, actually... so maybe next time?

FillyjonkthePumpkinEater · 15/10/2006 07:35

aw i'd love to go and i had a plan to avoid going up to semi strangers and introducing myself as a character from the moomin books (it involved a badge)

I just can't. Fillygirl will not stand for it. I don't think we're even going to manage a proper halloween party this year

(see if you'd just got yourself to HESFES...)

FrannyandZooey · 15/10/2006 08:29

The fish, Aitch? Cod never comes to meet ups...

Filly you must bring your dp and small children and they must stand outside and phone you at intervals when your baby needs you so you can go out to her. It's quite simple.

OP posts:
WelshBorisKarloff · 15/10/2006 09:48

OH ok then I will come

TheBlairAitchProject · 15/10/2006 14:14

why doth not the fish attend? is she a bit of a codardo? (ahem, that's coward in italian, aren't i clever?)

and filly, in a room filled with drunken women whose pelvic floors have seen better days i can't help but think that your 3-year-old's catchphrase might be all too apposite...

That's it. I'm definitely coming to the next one.

FrannyandZooey · 15/10/2006 14:24

Well I don't know if I would come if I were cod. Someone would probably try to assassinate her, she really does get no end of stick from nutters you know

OP posts:
TheBlairAitchProject · 15/10/2006 14:26

arf!

RottenOtter · 15/10/2006 14:28

lockets!!! I agree re pester. (I have also started to use beastly!) I was visiting my poor old Granny on Friday and she said my baby 'scowled' I was delighted. Not heard it in years!

NotQuiteCockney · 15/10/2006 14:28

Um, fillyjonk, there's another reason to not make lists - you included tamum, who (afaik) is not coming! And there I got all excited and went to check, and she's not coming! (What with living in Edinborough, Edinburgh? or whatever that place up north is called, it's no surprise ...)

SPACEdoutzombieCADET · 15/10/2006 15:08

franny, i would have liked to have met you too.
just my luck to move over to the other side of the country!

FillyjonkthePumpkinEater · 15/10/2006 16:45

do you do joined up?

TheBlairAitchProject · 15/10/2006 17:12

it's alright, cod, franny's explained about the assassination attempts. i understand completely. over and out, mon capitaine.

NotQuiteCockney · 15/10/2006 20:04

I've actually been to Edinburgh, a long time ago. Twice, now that I think of it, once with lots of drunken physics people, all four of whom were called John (!!). And once with DH, visiting relatives there.

I did like the city, we should go back sometime.
