Hi Ruth - I'm in Southampton.
We know each other from the due in Feb thread don't we?!

Ruth2808 · 05/10/2006 16:51

Hi,

My baby is due in 3weeks time - yippee!
I am desperate not to become an isolated, stuck-at- home mum, and would love the opportunity to make some new friends in my area. I live in Winchester;is there anyone out there who would be interested in getting in touch & perhaps meeting up for a coffee & chat?

Tommy · 06/10/2006 13:05

Hi Cazwylie - I have older DSs as well and most of my life seems to be taken up with tearing arouns after them at the moment! (one just started school and one nursery)
If you are on the look out for other Mummy friends, I'm pretty sure the NCT is very active in Winchester - perhaps you could look out for Bumps and Babies group?
Good luck with the birth - I'm envious of you - I still have another 20 weeks to go!

Cazwylie · 06/10/2006 14:57

Hi Tommy,

Thanks for that, will look up your suggestions.
What does DSs mean?

Tommy · 06/10/2006 21:12

Darling Sons!

There is an acronym list at the top of the page - click on that and you will be able to understand all the nonesense that MNetters talk

Good luck.

Hi folks - I'm in Southsea - there's a few Hampshire groups of MNs I think. The Portsmouth MNers recently met up but I often go to Winchester as I teach in Fair Oak, so would be happy to meet up in you'd like!
