Hi, just moved to the area and have three children. Feeling a bit lost at mo have moved from leamington where had a good group of mums to chat with, I find I am now talking in depth to the local co-op girls! i have tried a little playgroup, but stood like a muppet with no mates. Might try again but if anybody fancies a chin wag or could suggest anywhere I could take my 2 year old girl it would be really nice thanks.

Hi - I am a bit further away in Southampton. I don't know Winchester very well I'm afraid but I didn't want you to feel like you'd been ignored!

Thats ok, Thanks for writing having a glass of wine and a huge bar of choccy, kids in bed. Have taken a trip to southampton for the cinema, looks like you have some really good shopping. Anyway thanks for checking up .(smile)

you're welcome
choccy and wine sounds great - I would love it but I know it would give me indigestion (pregnant )

Hi Maccynursey, I'm Michelle, I live in Winchester. I'm always happy to meet, I'm trying to learn to drive so I can escape more often but don't like it much. Ah well, needs must I guess.

I'm from Southampton too so not so familiar but would assume Bishops Waltham has plenty of toddler groups. (And the coffee shop in the wine merchants' used to do an amazing fudge-topped cake, don't know if they're still there.)
Winchester NCT are quite a busy lot, have a look on here .

pinklilith · 25/04/2007 08:32

thanks for that

Delighted to see some other MNers in Alresford. We are moving this week on Friday 14th December and would be great to meet up with some others if anybody is available. I have DD aged 4 and DS aged 8 months so am on pushchair and school run detail. Nice cafe in Alresford and some great clothes shops although DH would not be amused if I made light of facilities considering eye-watering costs of moving.

Keen to hear from the sisterhood.
