I'm on Portland and looking to meet up with other mums with young children in the area who want to get out of the house and socialise to stop the madness from setting in!

My DS1 is 19mths and DS2 is 5 weeks.

big congrats on Joseph hon, excellent choice of name!

(not by you btw, well blandford - there's a lot of poole/bournmouth mummys thou)

Thanks Munz, no idea where these 5 weeks have gone!
I would travel to poole and Bournemouth if I had a car. It's a bit of a trek by bus or train up there on your own though

I know it isn't alot of help but my parents are in Weymouth - last time I was down there seemed to be quite alot happening in the Weymouth and Portland area.

Hi burstingbug, Portland is only up the road from me. My twin ds are at school but we do get some time off in the afternoons. Also, Mums need nights out!

burstingbug · 26/09/2006 10:25

Where abouts are you maycontainstress?
I've not been out properly since may 2004, I've either been pregnant or breast feeding since then!

I'm in Dorchester, not far.

A good night out is essential, food, wine.
Weymouth is half way for both of us?

burstingbug · 26/09/2006 11:27

it is halfway
Mmmmmmmm food and wine
