Hi, I've checked the latest messages but can't seem to find one from anyone in the falmouth area of cornwall - Is there anyone out there?
I've moved here fairly recently from brighton with my hubby and ds (18months old) and would love to meet up with some other new mums for a coffee, cake and a chin wag.
I'm 29, work full time as a dentist and my hubby looks after our little chap. I'm also 12 weeks preg so would love to hear from anyone round here with young kids/who is pregnant...

hey there - i live in Hayle which is about 30 mins from Falmouth. Have a 4 month old ds and a almost 4 yr old dd. Am 32, work PT. CAT me if you want to meet up!!

CityGirlGoesRural · 05/10/2006 19:28

Hi, you two. I'm also a West Cornwall mother somewhere between Falmouth and Helston (the rural bit, down one of those lanes!). I have a 16 month old ds. 37, not working, unless looking after an array of livestock counts, with a hubby who spends time working away regularly, leaving me fully in charge of everything... so always up for a gossip, just a little bit impractical on the wine side, sadly!

MandyBOO · 11/10/2006 11:15

Fancy a meet up then?

Georgygirly · 12/10/2006 17:33

Hi, I'm a new mum-to-be, due in Feb, and would love to meet up for a chin-wag. Moved from London to Cornwall last year, living in Helston and currently have an office in Falmouth. Into the outdoors, friends and family and red wine... not so much of the latter lately!

Cool, I'm around most of the week, in the Helston/Falmouth area, if you want to suggest somewhere for a coffee? When is a good time for most of you?

CityGirlGoesRural · 19/10/2006 13:21

Sorry for not getting back sooner, but a meet up is a brilliant idea. I'm also Helston/Falmouth area, but the only times I can really do are during weekdays. Evenings are out, as are weekends, I'm afraid, but during the day I'm pretty flexible.
GeorgyGirl, I was also from London, about 5 years ago.

How about 11am for a coffee at the Gylly Beach Cafe, Gyllynvase Beach, Falmouth one day next week? Mon, Tues or Wed is best for me.

CityGirlGoesRural · 19/10/2006 18:34

Okey dokey. I could do Tuesday or Wednesday I think. And 11am is fine. I'll be the one with the little boy in a push chair! Shall we confirm this on Monday in case anything crops up?

Georgygirly · 20/10/2006 15:12

Sounds good. I'll be the one with the bump

Georgygirly · 23/10/2006 16:37

Hi Citygirlgoesrural, I've now got a lunch meeting on Wed, so tomorrow/tues would be best, same place & time? Otherwise we could meet earlier on Wed, say 10am?

CityGirlGoesRural · 23/10/2006 16:51

Uh-oh, and I can't do either now, for reasons too boring to go into. Can we cross fingers for next week, although I won't be able to confirm it until then. Sorry, but it WILL happen!!!

Laura032004 · 06/11/2006 22:14

Gosh! There seem to be lots of people in this area now! We had a Cornwall meet-up 18 mnths ago, and there were only three of us there from Cornwall!!!
