Right ladies - we said we'd do 1st Sept but haven't got very far with organising it!

I therefore propose the Royal Oak (Brewers Fayre) at Langley, 11:45-12:00 ish.

I think that so far we have

CantSleepWontSleep + DD
Picadilly Circus + DS + DD
Teabelly + DS + DD
Georgiesmum + DS

Can you all confirm if you're still up for it please, as it's been a while.

All others quite welcome .

Oooh, exciting, I used to live in Hitchin!
Am now in West Yorkshire, so won't be coming but just wanted to hijack the thread and tell you I used to live your way!
Am going now

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/08/2006 21:30

Would have thought the least you could do was pop back once in a while for a meet up .

I know, awfully bad manners, innit!?
I do meet up with a friend from there still, but half way up the A1!
Its been so long, I can't even recall Langley - never forgot St Ippollitts though, what a name!

IdrisTheDragon · 28/08/2006 21:43

We are still up for it (I was PC by the way ).

mumpleasemayi · 28/08/2006 23:05

eh nothing wrong with St Ippolyts you know!!!
(i live there)
would love to come to the meet but im broke
maybe next time.

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/08/2006 20:26

Ah ITD - didn't know about the name change. Saw ITD post on something recently and thought she must be a newbie!

mpmi - I start gymbabes classes with DD in St Ippolyts next week. Hadn't realised you were so local to me.

Hi there ladies - just got back from a lovely weekend break and now have a mountain of work to get done by tonight, arrrh (why is it that any days away from work = 10 times the amount when you come back? ) anyway, just wanted to say Langley fine by me , what name's the booking in??

P.S. ITD - like the new name - actually DH had a group at school called ITD - 'into the dark' all 80's synths etc, very funny listening to their demo tape...only don't tell him I said that!

mumpleasemayi · 30/08/2006 18:44

csws - i live in the same road as where they hold those classes. i've never taken my dd though im too much of a wuss bag.

Georgiesmum · 31/08/2006 09:10

Hi ladies, sorry I havent been around lately. I would love to come and see you all (as would Georgina) but unfortuantely funds are a little stretched at the mo so its not possible!

Maybe next time

CantSleepWontSleep · 31/08/2006 13:00

Table booked for 11:45 in name Stone, for 3 adults, 5 children (inc 3 high chairs).

See you there!

CantSleepWontSleep · 31/08/2006 13:02

mpmi - we really should meet up sometime then, as you're probably the closest mnetter I've found to myself so far (I'm between Whitwell and Kimpton).

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 31/08/2006 14:21

We are looking forward to it . Will probably manage to get lost (as I always get lost going everywhere ) but we will get there .

teabelly · 01/09/2006 08:44

ITD - very easy to get there...get to Hitchin and go as if you're taking the A602 to Stevenage, but instaed of taking A602 take next turn off roundabout = A656 and keep on this road - Royal Oak is about 2 miles past St Ippolyts on this road (right hand side) but easy to spot as it's the only building for miles !

See you there

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/09/2006 08:56

Just to ensure you don't get confused, that would be the B656 .

See you later.

OP posts:
IdrisTheDragon · 01/09/2006 09:38

I even know which road the B656 is .

See you in a bit (when all of us will be dressed ).

teabelly · 01/09/2006 20:43

Doh! it's a good job you were on the ball CSWS and you knew your way anyway ITD better make sure next time we go somewhere that we've been to before so I don't have to post directions

Lovely to see you all again. Can't believe what grown up little ladies we all have - doesn't time fly and all that , and ITD thank-you so much for taking on my ds too, he said he had a great time pretending to be an elephant and has been stomping around the house all afternoon!

As soon as I know my situ with regards to fridays I will let you know, otherwise I'm free to 'coffee' from 3.30ish onwards.

til next time

mumpleasemayi · 06/09/2006 19:11

csws - would be glad to meet any time.
