This is a shameless plug really.
We went to Collision's pub/restaurant/bistro in Madeley Heath earlier this week and it was great -relaxed atmosphere, yummy food (especially the giant tiramisu), lovely hosts (grovel) -recommended!
Oh, and a meet-up would be nice. Has there been one yet?
