Meeting up in Beckenham/ Bromley Area

Hello to mums in the Beckenham, Bromley, Crystal Palace area. Is anyone interested in meeting up for coffee and chats etc...? I have a 10 month old daughter sho loves the company of other young babies and children, so the closure of our local baby clubs for the summer is making entertaining her a big challenge ! Is anyone having the same trouble ?

Hi Emismum i'm in Bromley and know what you mean I have a 10month old son and a very bored 4 year old son.

Roll on the end of the holidays, we can often be found in the local coffee shop, park or on a bad day the toy shops in the Glades. If you fancy joining us, just let me know

I also meet up with some mums from the Nov 05 postnatal thread, we've got lo's ranging from end of Oct to beginning of Dec so you'd be more than welcome to join our chatter, have a quick look and see what you think

Thanks Beksmum, you and your freinds sould like a god send. I know a few people in Beckenham but most of them went back to work at the end of June and now we are rather high and dry when it comes to big people and little people to meet up with. Will check out the thread you recommend. Susie.

Emismum, I should have given you the latest title, we go through threads at an alarming rate The current one is Nov '95 cryin, talkin', sleepin', walkin, livin' dolls.

Have also suggested the thread to someone sles so come along and join us we reckon we're the friendliest thread on here

OK will check that one. Was trawling through the Nov 05 thread where you all catch up, very heart warming! I was about to intro myself and my daughter but got distracted by a large crash behind me ! Emily had pulled over the CD tower.... lots of tears followed.

Hi ya

Oh what a nightmare, was she ok? Thomas has decided that everything is climbable at the moment so I have to have eyes in the back of my head.

Hope you have a good bank holiday weekend, the other thread is pretty quiet the moment as quite a few are away on holiday or juggling the summer hols, sure it will pick up again soon

Hi Beks, yes she was fine, just a bit frightened by the tumbling CDs. She has daily bumps at the moment now that shes mobile. Trying to stand with the help of everything including cushions ! Your group on the new thread sound fun so will chip in soon. Which cafe do you go to in Bromley? I often take Emily to lunch at Giardinos near Debenhams as they have an outside terrace, and we can watch the world go by, they also have yummy toasted ciabattas ! Perhaps we could have lunch at some point. Susie.

Am I too late to chip in? I have a 5 week old boy and live in Biggin Hill. Am a regular to Bromley, and am looking to chat to other mums.
