First time mum have 9mth DS live near common, julesnyc are you aware there is a organised common walk on tuesday mornings meet at the bellemoor entrance at 10.30am organised by HVs due to run till end of October, weather permitting, but there's no reason it could not carry on or take part on other days if anyone interested.

julesnyc · 28/09/2006 09:56

Can't do tues mornings as only got tues / fri afternoons free. might be interested in a common walk then though. my little one likes to run and explore a lot in the park over there and of coarse the duck pond !!!

hi im new to mumsnet, i have a baby girl caitlin nearly 9 months old, im getting bored sitting at home twiddling my thumbs, looking for parents and toddlers groups. Am living in Southampton at the moment.

Bucketsofbloodydinosaurs · 03/10/2006 08:58

Hiya

JulesNYC and me met up last Wednesday at the St Denys church toddler group. Nether of us turned out to be sinister blokey stalkers I'll be there again tomorrow if you fancy it (and if it's not raining) It's 1-2.45pm and you access it off North Road.
I'm Liv by the way, I'll have my 20m old Noah with me who is blonde and VERY handsome.

sleeplessinhants · 05/10/2006 10:28

Julesnyc thanks again for meeting up at the park, good luck with the new career and be sure to let us know your web site when its up and running would be interested in having DS done for his first year.
Vickiabcandrews, i am trying the mother and toddler group at St Johns centre, St James Rd, Shirley tomorrow for the first time it runs from 10.30 to 12 should you be interested. Or if its more convenient Julesnyc tells me the teddies group in highfield church centre which runs Friday from 9.30 to 11 is very good.

sleeplessinhants · 06/10/2006 19:59

Vicki, would not bother with St Johns till Caitlin alot older! Julesnyc hope to see you at Teddies next week.

julesnyc · 08/10/2006 21:32

Hi Sleepless - It was great to meet you few days ago. Think your little boy is soooooo cute ! Yes, do hope to see you this friday at Teddies . We tend to arrive around 9 40am. Would love to do some pics of your little one. Shall have to show you some of my work

Vicki please do come a long as it is a very good group. They are all very friendly and we sit in a big circle and sing nursery rhyme songs ! The adults seem to enjoy the singing just as much as the kids !!

Hope to see you soon x

Aaargh! Completely forgot DH had the day off so I spent it whizzing appreciating having the car.
Will be along this week.
Jules, if you have any fliers etc bring a wodge along and I'll pack them in my nappy info bags to give out at the next NCT Sale.
We used to go to Teddies before we crossed the river, it was really nice. Couldn't manage it now with DD's flipping afternoon preschool sessions, they're doing my head in. 12.30 start so I have a battle everyday to get us all fed and out the door. At least with mornings you can just get up earlier - I hate having lunch at 11.30am but DD eats so slowly!

sleeplessinhants · 14/10/2006 19:51

Jules, just wanted to thank you again for suggesting Teddies, really enjoyed it, if only I had found it 9 mths ago, oh well there's always next time
