I am in my mid thirties and I am looking to meet other local Mums from Walton and the surrounding area. Having always worked before I had my son who is now 17 months....... it would be nice to meet up with other like minded mums for a chat and coffee.

Hi people of this area do we want to get organised and have a trip to Bocketts Farm, Leatherhead in the Easter Holidays? If we get organised enough we could get a discount by booking in advance. It really is a full day out and worth the moeny - great outdoor and indoor play areas as well as farm etc

Would definitely be up for a day out in Easter to Bocketts.

I would be up for the easter meet at brockets I have a small ds2 (6 months) but he is happy in the buggy ds1 would love it - havent been to that one b4.

Hello - new to this thread but heartily agree with the general sentiment! I live in Hersham, having moved here three months ago: two sons, 4 and 2. We go to a couple of local toddler groups (Little Gems at St Peter's in Hersham on Tuesday mornings, and Little Acorns at the Baptist Church in Walton town centre), but I'd be up for meeting more people. I know Bocketts Farm - in fact older son just had his fourth birthday there. It is a top place with loads to do, and the food is actually OK (ie, not completely riddled with e-numbers and flavourings. Not that I mind the odd e-number.)

New to this site. Hi I live in Weybridge and have two boys 7 and 3 years. Have quite a few mum friends already but love meeting new people. Brockettes farm is great been there a few times. Someone mentioned Little Acorns I also go there. .

Who doesn't go to Liitle Acorns? The place is like a zoo. But a very well-organised zoo, with bible verses.

Hi BethBoo. Don't think anyone's actually organising the farm trip at the moment - just a lot of people talking about it! There used to be a few more people on this thread who seem to have gone to ground a bit - let's see if we can lure them back in.

Hello - I'm watching still! Would suggest that we pick 2 provisional dates close together and then try and make it the driest one! For example the Wed or Fri after Easter weekend? Or if people commit to def going then we can probably get a discount and have a barn to eat packed lunches in. Perhaps good idea to invite others along to mae sure there is enough to get a good discount?

just to add I am buffysmum but have name changed..........it would be advisable to get someone else to organise it all - 2 weeks until we get married then 3 days later dd2 had grommets fitted so I'm rather stressed at the moment........

CJS - I go to Little Gems too (Tuesday mornings), and sometimes Little Acorns. Won't be around on Friday (going to Fairfields in Kingston as apparently they have a bouncy castle + slide there for RND) but hope you raise lots of dough.

So, the dates CarGirl vaguely suggested are April 11 and 13th. I can do either. Anyone else?

Im about 5'5 have 2 boys 2 1/2 and 6 months also look knacked!! long brown hair always tired up (no time to do my own hair). The boys are mixed race older one curly brown hair and very loud. I will look out for you next week.
