Watford - NW London - Middx - Herts Meetup

Hi Girls, thought I'd start a separate thread for the April meetup (that is assuming everyone wants to meetup again after meeting on Friday! ).

Alibubbles found out that the Watford Playdome reopens in April. As Easter is April 9-12th is everyone around the week of 19-23rd? What days are ok (ie. Mon, Tues)?

kids go back on the 19th dont they. or is that just here. make it a week earlier and i might come along.

Our Easter holidays are also April 5th to 16th. But Mon 19th is an inset day so ds1 goes back on Tues 20th. I can do 19th with both boys after 1:00ish as we have dental checkups at 12:00. Or can do 23rd with ds2 anytime.

Janstar, we always get a week before state schools, I think it is so we can go skiing when the slopes are empty!! ( and cheaper)

Actually, we go back on the 22nd, not the 23rd. Gosh, you break up very late!

We also get two weeks in October for half term. Summer is a bit more nornal this year, 13th July to 10th September. Last year we broke up on the 3rd July!

The 19th or 23rd are both good for me at the mo.

Hi girls, we break up on the 2nd and go back on the 20th, Mondays the older kids spend with their dad. So I'll go with any date you agree with.

If it's a Friday I promise to make the effort and get myself to whereever you all are.

Can we make a decision ! I've just been asked out to play on the 19th as it's last day of holidays for ds1. So i would prefer Fri 23rd. Can we make that a date ?

Earlier we suggested Willows Farm as Plan A and the Playdome as Plan B and we can check the weather nearer the time? Any other suggestions?

The local paper was delivered today and the back page has tokens for Willows farm "Pay for adult - admit one child free" I think you have to pay for children over two and I know the prices have gone up recently. Have collected a few tokens from neighbours so if weather is good and we do go to Willows we should meet outside so I can distribute !

I was outside playdome yesterday and it has changed its name to Kids Sports. There was a huge balloon flying there to advertise the fact that it has re-opened.

Sorry folks Going to have to miss this one. Dh has now got to work in Glasgow that weekend so I'm going along too to get a rare chance to see family (and ds gets to see gran and grampa!). Enjoy yourselves

If you're still going to Willows I would love to join in. I have two dds, a 3 year old and a 7.5 month old. If the weather's bad I'm not sure where the playdome is but would happily try to find it if someone gave me directions.

grommit, don't think you'll need a token if you're just taking "Baby ds1" I think you only have to pay once they are two.
