Sooooo... who's in?
Was thinking Tuesday 4th July as a starter for 10.

Anyone?

Count me in. I can make that day, or any other, if not many people can come.

Orinoco · 14/06/2006 12:47

Looks good - but I won't be able to make it, sorry.

Clary · 14/06/2006 13:41

looks really nice Squarer (thanks for the email!) but weekdays in termtime are not great for me....
have fun tho!

melrose · 14/06/2006 14:03

I live in NOttingham, although not been to any meet ups yet, have 2 yr old DS. Love Ferry Farm but work all days except Fridays, so cannot make it this time

Astrophe · 14/06/2006 15:35

Anyone know how long it would take me from Derby?

Thanks for the email Squarer!

pinkmagic1 · 14/06/2006 15:44

Would love to come but have no transport.

Frizbe · 14/06/2006 20:05

Astrophe would take you about 45mins to an hour!
I'm up for it Squarer, however dd1 is in nursery that day, so would miss out on the fun, but dd2 can come! Let me know if you decide on a different date??

squarer · 14/06/2006 20:21

Ok.. so if we make it Friday 7th July - how are we doing then?

Pinkmagic - I have offered Blondie a lift and can fit you and up to 2 children in if you want to come? Is that any good for you?

OP posts:
Frizbe · 14/06/2006 20:27

Have an apptmt at 12:30 but might be able to shift it...will let you know...

squarer · 14/06/2006 20:34

wonderful - DO IT!!! (assuming the other immoral majority can make the Friday) Haven't seen you since the Castle last year. Used to be every Thursday and Friday didn't it? Grin

OP posts:
LOOBYLOU2 · 14/06/2006 20:54

Thx for the email Squarer!
Unfortunately I can't make either of those days
Can do any day after 14/07 cos I am leaving work foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
Please let me know of next meet up tho'
cheers

Rhian101 · 16/06/2006 10:29

Should be able to make either date so I'm easy Smile

Ponka · 16/06/2006 14:02

Yep. Either date. Although MIL might come along if it's the Friday because she usually comes to see us.

pinkmagic1 · 16/06/2006 14:19

Thanks for the offer of a lift, Squarer. It would just be me and my 2 year old DS. Couldn't make a Monday or Friday but any other day would be OK for me.

squarer · 17/06/2006 09:32

I think that Tuesday 4th is winning then so I'm going to set that as the definite date...

We have:
Ponka
Rhian
Pink Magic
Squarer
Frizbe??? (with just DD2)

Will your friend come again Ponka?

Anyone else? So far we have a small and exclusive contingent Grin

OP posts:
squarer · 17/06/2006 09:32

Just a thought Pinkmagic - do you have a car seat for your DS?

OP posts:
fairydust · 17/06/2006 09:36

pinkmagic1 · 17/06/2006 22:40

Yes,he has a car seat. We live in the Carlton area and if you could give us a lift I would love to come.

squarer · 18/06/2006 12:35

I'll CAT you Pinkmagic so I can find out where to pick you up from Smile

OP posts:
blondie82 · 18/06/2006 21:14

If i can get a lift I would definitely come. Lets just hope dd still fits in her car seat!! lol

squarer · 19/06/2006 08:40

Excellent - that's me full with Pinkmagic and Blondie Smile

OP posts:
Frizbe · 19/06/2006 22:09

FD did someone say it was a morning meet?! Grin
What time is it we're meeting then Squarer??
Yep I can do the Tue, might be able to drag a friend as well Smile

squarer · 20/06/2006 12:51

What about 10:30 meetup in activity play area if it's fine and the indoor play area if it's raining? We can stay in whichever area on the day if anyone's late that way.
I'm taking a picnic (ha ha!) as I don't know what the tea rooms are like, and I think the kiddies prefer a picnic anyway don't they? (she says, floundering wildly in inexperienced mother-mud)

OP posts:
Ponka · 20/06/2006 19:47

Yeah picnic, definately.

I've asked Cath if she's up for it again and she would love to come along. Be warned though. I started Kamikaze Cod stylee potty training yesterday. I will be bringing 10 pairs of trousers!

So that's

Ponka
Rhian
Pink Magic
Squarer
Frizbe (& a friend?)
Blondie
Cath

Frizbe · 20/06/2006 19:59

It will just be me on that day! and I'm going to do a flying visit to you all as well, as I do Aikido on a Tue lunch, so will meet you all at 10:30, then bail out at about 12, dropping dd2 at grans on way into Aikido! but at least I can make it for a bit!! (have to do the exercise or will remain fat forever)
The tea rooms are quite good there actually, fantastic cake selection Grin they have sarnies, baked tatties n a kids menu (although that's mainly hot kids fare from what I remember) and a selection of soup of the day
type things etc.
