angelicka · 25/06/2006 15:28

Hi everyone - hope I am not being rude gatecrashing but I need female company NOW!!!!
My first bubba is due 7th July and I am getting well excited although a little nervous at the prospect of being homebound with only a baby for conversation!
I live in Saltdean - just along the coast from Rottingdean/ Brighton and have been here for about 18 months but as I work on the road, have not had much chance to meet anyone and although I love my other half truly, madly and deeply, sometimes I crave for a girly chat!
So - are any of you expecting or are you all yummy mummys?
Would love to hear from anyone who has time to talk and hope to get involved in your "meets" if poss in the future??

Tortington · 25/06/2006 15:46

ladytophamhat is expecting. comealong to the meet - there is a wide variety of people. dont limit yourself to people with babies - soon your only conversational topic with be about baby sick

OP posts:
chocolatemummy · 25/06/2006 17:29

ahh, Goring and steyning, thats why you were giving the west sussex mummies a go then Custardo!
well I went to see take that last night they were fantastic, really nice to hav a whole day and night away from being MUMMMY and WIFEY. They are still gorgeous and I have a sore throat fomr screaming ans singing and sore legs from all the dancing but it was great.

do any of you ever go to any clubs?

Tortington · 25/06/2006 18:54

only when i am back in my native oldham. think i may be too old to be clubbing with any decency - however that doesn't stop me.

OP posts:
MABS · 26/06/2006 09:05

God,help me then Custy when i go dancin', I'm at least double your age.

angelicka · 26/06/2006 09:47

Keep me informed as to the next meet and I will come along - after 9 months of sode and lime I cannot wait to have a few JD and cokes just as soon as I can get back into my jeans!
Custardo - you from Oldham? I lived in Hull for about 8 years. How long have you been down here?
Choc Mummy - have not been clubbing for aaaages but each time we go out down to the seafront on a Saturday night we have been tempted to go into the Honey Club but can never be bothered to queue. Don't do queing anymore!!! Have you been there? Also - the Marina is also a good place for a meet in the future - loads of restaurants but if it is just drink and partying you are after there is the Rehab bar and the Karma Club/ Bar which is good - not full of kids either!!!

MABS · 26/06/2006 10:19

I like Karma at the Marina too

Tortington · 26/06/2006 11:28
