Lunch in the City: Wednesday 21st June

Hi ladies, Beachyhead and I would like to propose another lunch in the City - venue to be agreed - on Wednesday 21st June. Is this a convenient date for everyone?

Happy to help organise but don't want to interfere.

Hi Marina, so pleased you don't think I'm interfering and I do hope you can make it on 21st. Great idea to mail Kayleigh in case she doesn't see this thread.

My only suggestion :) would be that as it is h-term, City mums with school age children might not be around this week, so we need to bump next week for their benefit.
Don't be soft NG Grin it's very good of you to organise...

Well whilst I'd love to join you all - won't be making it this time. I also have no baby news to report. Still incubating at 10 days overdue now! I have an induction booked for Saturday morning when I'll be 14 days over - our hospital won;t do them before that. Getting a bit fed up now as I'm sure you can imagine.

Hope you all have a lovely time and hope to be able to bring a baby up to one the next lunches.....

So far, for our lunch next week, we have:

Marina (provisionally;

Beachyhead
Pamina3

Not sure where all the other City mums have got to this time, but I think we should go ahead with lunch and keep bumping this thread.

Now the logistics. Time: shall we say 12.30/12.45 to avoid the 1pm rush? Location: beachyhead has suggested Spitalfields as the weather is now so warm. Is this convenient for everyone? If not, maybe we could consider Leadenhall market and try to bag an outside table at the Pizza Express.

Views please.

I look forward to seeing everyone who can make it at around 12.30, in the food court area of Spitalfields Market (yes, Pamina3, it is off Commercial Road - see www.spitalfields.org.uk/). I will try to get there early and 'bag' a table. If anyone would like help to identify us, I will put a copy of a baby catalogue on our table.

Dino, have you had to add an e to your name or are you someone new and improved! I haven't heard anything from HBA. When was her due date? I haven't done a search, maybe she is just too busy being a new mummy......see you tomorrow.
