I think Ronniebaby organised this last year and we had a nice relaxing afternoon durring the Summer Hols. Anyone interested in doing it again this year?

I thought we could go to Town Gate again as there is a play area, a field to kick a ball/set up the picninc under a large tree and a small snack kiosk.

Let me know dates please.

Thing with bringing both the boys is that they tend to shoot off in opposite directions, and the quite honest truth of it is, is that I want to be able to sit on a picnic blanket, eat yummy food and have a chat with my friend and not have to worry about chasing a 2 year old around. Lazy - moi?

I also like to have some one-2-one time with each of them and this would be a nice opportunity.

Although if I dont end up bringing them both I will just bring a football along and force my friend Simon to play with them whilst i relax! What are friends for..... lol

mummyhill · 10/08/2006 07:20

Tamba - I will be taking both my monsters one who runs off the other requires constant attention and is getting to heavy to pick up and race after the other one with. However I am sure that there will be enough adults in our group to adequatly supervise all the children.

mummyhill · 11/08/2006 09:02

Would it be an idea if all the kids wore the same coloured tops so that we can Identifiy members of our group easily?

OP posts:
MadameButterfly · 11/08/2006 09:17

Sounds good to me.

Have all kids got a WHITE top?

mummyhill · 11/08/2006 09:33

We have white or red ones as they are both fairly easilky spotted in a crowd. Not that it matters for ds as he won't be moving away from the picnic blanket or his pushchair.

MadameButterfly · 14/08/2006 22:56

Plan B could be my place. The kids could go up to the playroom, while we natter and have a cuppa downstairs.

MadameButterfly · 14/08/2006 23:09

HI all,

Alicemama, do you kmow what time you will be getting to sutton.

my mobile number is 07821 732752. call or text me when you know.

CarlK · 15/08/2006 06:50

are there any soft play centres near to sutton park?

mummyhill · 15/08/2006 07:29

Carlk - nearest one I can think of is (wacky warehouse) the fox and dogs in mere green but it is quite small and may well be over run.

Any other suggestions folks?
