I can't come :(

It's a good friend's gig on that date and I have got to go.

I am unable due to a previous engagement with my surgeon and an unfeasibly long recovery time. i have wanted to go to a meet up for such a long time and now can't. bugger fuck shit.

I'm due to have a baby the day before the meet up, so I will either be a) hugely pregnant and incredibly grumpy because of it and the associated non drinking/smoking, or b) stuck to the sofa trying to bf and having lovely newborn cuddles or c) chomping down on the G&A in hospital swearing at DH under my breath.

So I won't be able to come. Boo.

If you aint popped, we can rub your back and do all the sympathy

If you're mid-pop, you'll have 30+ top birthing partners to hand

If you're post-pop, we can do pass the newborn all night and you can drink G & T

Grand: are you London'based and booked in for delivery in a London hospital? I remember wanting to go to a party on DS' due date and the midwife told me I could go if I felt well enough as long as I took my maternity notes with me. So I had a 'second' maternity bag with spare knickers and skirt for me, one babygrow and a couple of nappies, and the folder of notes, which I took everywhere for the last ten days or so of PG.

DS was a week late anyway.

Oh, sorry you can't come Bupcakes, I feel you would have added a certain je ne sais quoi to proceedings .
