....everyone seems to have vanished. Grin

Just wanted to let you guys know that I've found a fantastic value indian restaurant. I went there last week.
It's at Park Gates in Poole so not sure if you guys from Bmth want to come over this way.
They do a buffet menu on a Tuesday and Wednesday night (can anyone make one of these two nights?). You get any choice of a starter, any choice of a main meal, any choice of side dish with pilau rice, ice cream and a coffee ALL for £8.95. If you want prawn dishes then they add extra on.
What dy'a reckon ladies? Smile

Jodee · 06/04/2006 13:40

It's slapper's united! Glad you had a good time in Bumbles, Bunnny, and I've got the batteries (let's keep em guessing as to what the batteries are for!) Grin

SPARKLER1 · 06/04/2006 13:59

So then, honest opinions guys. What did you think of the restaurant last night? I get a bit nervous recommending places to go. I have a good night somewhere and it doesn't always turn out the same again.

Very good - despite the cold towels! And Manuel in the background smashing everything in sight Grin

LittleMerlin · 06/04/2006 21:15

Just so there's no confusion ........

SPARKLER1 · 06/04/2006 21:16

Grin Ah yes the cold towels - what were they all about? Shock

Hey ladies, we are thinking about moving into the area and just really want to pick your brains about it.

I am a childminder so need to be fairly near to other families so i can get work.

Good primary schools for our kids and nursery (state not private day.)

Not many problems with crime etc which i know is a possibility whereever you live. A place where you wouldnt mind bringing up your kids.

Goodparks, libaries, leisure (not that important but thought i would ask, the other two are more important especially as we will have the beach nearby.)

We have been thinking about canford heath (seems quite expensive for 3 beds which is the minumum) and parkstone (not sure of areas but it looks nice and big houses. have been sort of looking at creekmoor as you seem to get 4 beds pretty cheap but wanted info if possible as it seems to suit our budget more than the others but just wondered why.?

Can anyone fill me in, coming down at easter to have a drive around which i think only shows so much.

mumlove · 07/04/2006 21:45

jellyjelly - Have you still got my details from previous emails, you are still welcome to come in for a coffee when you vist Poole. Hope you are feeling better now. How are the wedding arrangements comming along?

I have met SPARKLER1 and know that she lives in canford heath but don't know where anyone else lives as not yet been able to meet up with them.

SPARKLER1 · 07/04/2006 21:59

Hi mumlove - how are you? Jellyjelly has started another thread with regards to this now. Smile

Hi SPARKLER1 I am not too bad thankyou but have been to the hospital a couple of times today as my mum had a fall this morning and left half of her blood on the pavement near her house!! So she now has 2 black eyes and a fat nose.
Well thats the 1st week of the easter hols over, only have to get through next week. Where has jellyjelly started the new thread?

SPARKLER1 · 07/04/2006 22:12

Oh no your poor mum. Had she been on the G&Ts for breakfast! Wink
By the way, I'm sorry I didn't reply to your question on one of the other threads from ages ago. Blush I keep meaning to go back to it.
DD is loving ballet thanks and she is wearing her leotard and cardigan with pride. Thanks again. Smile

Here's the new thread.

Thankyou for that. We must arrange to meet for a coffee sometime, and I need to check the threads for when the meet up at giggles is for some of the lo's birthdays to see if I might be able to make it and meet some more of you.
