We were thinking of a meet up later in March, have bumped the thread, with no joy. Is it still on or scraped?

Flossam · 19/03/2006 23:56

oops · 21/03/2006 12:28

am looking forward to it-but a bit daunted by having ds1 and ds2...hoping not to lose the big one (but actually may not be such a bad thing for a day or twoSmile)

VeniVidiVickiQV · 21/03/2006 14:58

Oops - it will be fine. DS1 will have a whale of a time in a padded, secure environment LOL - you'll get some peace and quiet WinkGrin

oops · 21/03/2006 20:56

when ds2 was vv little we went to a softplay place party.
one of the grannies said she'd keep an eye on ds1, so i could feed ds2
about 10mins later i asked her where he was, but she hadn't seen him since we spoke!
i found him tangled up in a ropey thing, quietly moaning "stuck mummy, stuck" Sad
so i haven't been on my own since...
lol about the padded room tho' Smile

CHICagoMUM · 21/03/2006 21:00

Don't worry, dd will "mother hen" the lot of them for us Grin .

OP posts:
VeniVidiVickiQV · 22/03/2006 19:55

Oops - you are an absolute lifesaver. Thank you for today. Bet you didnt think they would come in handy Grin

Good day today Smile

oops · 22/03/2006 19:58

well, they were just hangin around minding their own business in the back of the car...waiting to go home!
No probs
we were supposed to go on a playdate this pm with owner of the item, but ds1 was sooo tired that i couldn't inflict it on him..
he wouldn't go to sleep when he got home tho' Sad
nor would ds1 but he was knackered, so i had to carry him everywhere.
am just plucking up courage to go back inot kitchen and tidy.. dh out this eve...

lovely day tho' really enjoyed it and glad i didn't get stuck in a slide or any of the roller type things Grin

VeniVidiVickiQV · 22/03/2006 23:06

DS wouldnt sleep either Sad

He slept for about half hour in the car, woke before we arrived home and took an hour to go to sleep this evening.

DD was thoroughly exhausted though Grin

oops · 22/03/2006 23:12

ds2 has woken twice swo far since 6pm
i really should go to bed but have alot of ironing to do (see tabletop sale thread) and dh is scared of the pile of clothes...
he is out and is bringing chocolate home, as a reward for clearing it all up

but i haven't yet Sad

hunkermunker · 22/03/2006 23:16

DS1 also wakeful this evening - he slept in the buggy for a bit (as did DS2) while I mooched round Brent Cross (poor DH!), then woke up and was Not Happy the whole way home.

Did request much in the way of din-dins this evening though - poor starving boy! And DS2 has guzzled almost all evening too - perhaps I should try him with baby rice - after all, he's 9 weeks old now... Wink

DH v impressed with DS2's eating, Oops!

hunkermunker · 22/03/2006 23:17

Oh, meant to add...good fun today - really enjoyed it. Read the small print on the membership leaflet on the way home...says that adults aren't to go down the slides. Whoops!
