amynnixmum · 06/03/2006 13:23

I'm not sure - i have a horrid horrid ear infection at the moment and have had to have an extention on my OU assignment that was due in this week. So long as I get better and the bloody infection doesn't take hold in the other ear AngryAngry as it seems to be doing I should be able to get it finished by next tuesday and come along. If not then I won't be able to comeSad

SPARKLER1 · 06/03/2006 13:36

where are you planning on going? I need to be tempted away from the curry night. Grin

bunny3 · 06/03/2006 13:43

ANM, hope you get better soon. Fancy a coffee when you are back on your feet?

Sparkler, who mentioned curry????? Thaat wont fit in with my new keep fit regime.

SPARKLER1 · 06/03/2006 13:51

sorry bunny - I mentioned on the other thread that I have been invited out for a curry on the same night with some other friends.

SPARKLER1 · 06/03/2006 13:52

what's the regime then? Smile It's my weigh in tonight. Shock

bunny3 · 06/03/2006 14:50

my new regime is as follows: no alcohol, no dairy, no coffee, lots of sseds, salads, fruit, veg, beans. I have a horrid headache and am sure a coffee would sort me out but Im going to try my bset to stick to it in a slimming world sort of way.

bunny3 · 06/03/2006 14:50

good luck tonight!

amynnixmum · 06/03/2006 14:53

bunnyShock at horrible routine! No wine- aghh!! I don't feel to bad at the moment luckily but last week was agony. I'd love to go for a coffee - I'll let you know when I've got this assignment out of the way and can relax a bit.

bunny3 · 06/03/2006 14:54

I know it's a horrid routine isnt it? but it is necessary me thinks, to halt any further ageing Grin. The alcohol ban is not a permanent one btw!

amynnixmum · 06/03/2006 14:56

Somehow I didn't think it would beWink I'm on an alcohol ban too at the moment as I'm on strong antibioticsSad

Jodee · 06/03/2006 15:24

Just a p*ss up or will there be a morsel of food to soak it all up?
Bunny on an alcohol-free regime - oh deary me, LOL LOL! Grin IKWYM about coffee tho', I've completely cut out caffeine and my headsathumpin.

Get well soon, ANM. Smile

SPARKLER1 · 06/03/2006 16:18

Merlin · 06/03/2006 18:07

Friday night better for me as I have to work Friday but could be persuaded to do Thursday night if it fits in better with everyone else. If it's Friday the 17th, that'll mean i'm out 17th, 18th and 20th Shock. I'll need to be left in a dark room after that lot!

DelGirl · 06/03/2006 19:18

Saying that, dd has her hospital appointment on the 16th so i'm not sure i'll want to go out that night tbh, so count me out for that one.

catj · 06/03/2006 20:47

I'd love to come but I may be otherwise engaged Wink. On the other hand it could prove to be a alternative way of inducing birth Wink

Merlin · 06/03/2006 20:48

what's your due date catj?

OP posts:
catj · 06/03/2006 20:49

I'm due on the 21st!

Merlin · 06/03/2006 20:51

might be cutting it a bit fine then - don't think the labour ward would appreciate us all sitting around drinking!!!

OP posts:
catj · 06/03/2006 20:56

Its all right-I'm having a home birth. I would say you could come round here but it might get a bit crowded!

catj · 06/03/2006 20:57

Actually that would be a bit different. A mumsnet birth party Grin

chjlly · 06/03/2006 21:00
