And are up for meeting up at Brent Cross perhaps on the 17th March? Thought maybe we could go to kiddies place? Am flexible as long as I can get there in around an hour. VVV has suggested by 2 bed flat in barking but as yet I am not convinced. All welcome!!

Do you not drive Miaou? i think you will find that Brent cross is easily accessible via car. You have no excuse really.

Err, actually I know it is your very special day VVV but could we make it Thurs 16th? On the phone to mum telling her 'yes, we'll be down weekend of the 17th thinking to myself, errr, umm, oh dear!! Could everyone still make it then? Sorry!

Brent cross no problem, can get there in 15-20 mins (traffic permitting). So how is the move going? Have you sorted out the damp proofing etc?

We have agreed to go 50/50 for costs of roof and damp. Not exactly what we wanted but the market seems to have changed a lot in the area since we looked, prices are up and houses are being sold quickly. We've been looking on right move, so thats how we know! He threatened to pull out so we gave in. Now have mortgage deed (although don't know what it is!!) and contracts to sign. So I finally feel we might be getting there. Whats next I wonder!

How was your holiday? When did you get back?

Holiday fantastic, lovely and hot and sunny. Got in our bedroom (was last seen by the person coming in to feed it on tuesday, so dh has taken it to the vet as has definately lost weight and probably dehydrated, although doesn't appear to bad. Have had to chuck duvet, for obvious reasons, but luckily have another, and we will need to replace the carpet as he destroyed the area by the door trying to get out poor thing .
