I'm about 80 percent sure I can come on the 11th.

Mini hijack - MABS my brother's getting married in Brighton and wants to know about good posh restraurants to eat in. Also, what hotel should he stay in. He has left booking a bit late. He's quite well off so posh as you like. (Which is why I'm asking you Wink)

I'm having to give Motherfunkers a miss again on friday as I've suddenly got so much on.
It's 7-11 at the Old Market if anyone else fancies it though.

Hello Batters, hope this hijack of the Brighton thread means that one day we might get you London lunch bunch out of the smoke one day and come and get some sea air?!

Anyway yes started WOTH (as y'all call it) last October when dd went up to Prep with finishing time of 5.20 pm (!) I applied for a temporary local govt post and unfortunately managed to blag my way into it, despite having not WOTH'd for the previous 10 years.

I wanted to do p/t but somehow got persuaded into f/t, hence haven't been to a Brighton or any other meetup since, haven't done any housework, have hardly been to the gym, can't see my SAHM friends for lunch anymore, etc.

Luckily have recently been offered a permanent position so I immediately requested to go p/t so will do at end of March. However, dh's company has offered me p/t post as well so will be almost back up to f/t, but can do dh's post from home and can do hours I like.

Mabs, sorry for hijack. Will email you.

Sorry everyone I can't do that day now as I am on 3rd lot of AB's for tooth abcess and I am miserable atm Can't drink and also can't drink for 3 days once they are finished.So sorry was really looking forward to it aswell xx

Hi girls - have just been told by Carluccios that they booked ny table in error as they don't take bookings during the day. Where else would anyone like to go? Am booking for 1.30 this Saturday, any ideas? or shall we go to the Green Room above The Cricketers like last time?

Am thinking that might work well as I know some of you are coming 3 or 4ish and so we'll be able to linger. Or shall I book Topolinos or somewhere else??

Ladyjess - it'd be great to meet you, Sophie of Wessex - 3ish is great with me, or come earlier and don't eat if it suits you better! XX

I liked The Green Room for comfort and it was fab having that room to ourselves, but I didn't think the food was all that.

Agree re the food spider it was quite average.There is Bills if you want lovely food but no good if you want to stay for a while Or WagaMama?

Don't know the Sanctuary but it sounds great, any chance you could book it Spidey? I tried Bills but no bookings allowed on a Sat. I also like Wagamama, so am happy to book that?. I'm easy so wotever suits people. (agree re the food at green room, tho)
